This is Assignment Marks form called “Parat”. It is required to attached 3 copies with your each assignment when sending to your tutor. You can Download this form and print out to use. You may use its photocopies.

You send 3 copies of this form with each assignment after filling all required fields. Tutor will send you one copy with your assignment after checking and marking your assignment. Second copy is for tutor and third one for university record. You must fill all 3 forms before sending your assignment to your tutor.

AIOU Uploads Assignments' Marks Of Autumn 2020 Semester

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has uploaded assignments' marks of the bachelor programs (BA/ BBA/B. Com), offered in spring 2020 semester, on the university website

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Dec, 2020 ) : Allama Iqbal Open University ( AIOU ) has uploaded assignments' marks of the bachelor programs (BA/ BBA/B. Com), offered in spring 2020 semester, on the university website.

Students are instructed to check the marks of their respective courses on the website and in case of any error, they may contact examination department of the university.

According to the controller of examinations, university has also expedited the process of result compilation of final examinations of these programs.

Moreover, university commences admissions to the programs offered in the 1st phase of spring 2021 semester on January 15, 2021.

How to check AIOU assignment marks on the LMS portal

AIOU Assignment Marks Now Available on LMS

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has launched a new feature that will allow students to view their assignment marks directly on the LMS portal of AIOU.

B.A Assignments Marks Punching on LMS

AIOU has started giving students their assignments marks by 2022. The students will now be able to track their assignment marks through an interface in AIOU LMS 2022.

Enter your username and password

Once you log in to your Allama Iqbal Open University account, you can get your marks.

The marks will be categorized into one of three options – pending, graded, or assigned.

In all cases, you should see a list of assignments for that class and each will show your performance with respect to it.

An email was sent out about how to check AIOU assignment marks by using the LMS portal login AIOU methodically in every user account.

What if you have an issue with your LMS

Log on to your account and click on My Assignments in the top-right corner of your LMS page. In there, you will find an option to enter assignment marks. Enter your assignment’s code and select its department.

Follow with entering its name and submitting it.

Your marks will be updated as soon as possible. Keep in mind that an assignment must have been submitted before you can enter its marks on the LMS portal.

Students will now be able to view their respective assignments’ marks in the LMS portal.

Students can check how many marks they have obtained out of 100 in each assignment.

This feature has been rolled out for a few courses and will be available for all courses by mid-April 2018.

How to upload assignments marks on LMS

It is a significant day for all students of AIOU because now they can check their assignment marks on LMS.

After submission of each assignment, students will be able to see their updated assignments in the mark sheet of their respective subjects.

If you want to know how to upload your assignments marks in. Aiou then read below given steps:

First of all, open the My Courses section and click Assignments.

You will find three options:

View Assignments, Add New Assignments, and Upload Assignments.

Click the Upload Assignments button which is located at the top right corner under the courses menu option.

AIOU Assignments Marks Check Online Calculate

AIOU Allama Iqbal Open University has an assignment writing system that is mandatory for all students who are doing distance learning or those who are not taking regular classes. Because in AIOU there are two major types of students studying.

AIOU has a different exam and assignment pattern as compared to other educational institutions in Pakistan . The grading system of Allam Iqbal Open University AIOU is not the same as other universities in Pakistan.

Types Of AIOU Allam Iqbal Open University Students

• Distance Learners
• Regular Students

Assignments are compulsory for both types of students to submit. However, for distance learner students, the university allocated AIOU Tutors . The students have to submit all the assignments of each semester to the AIOU Tutors by sending them via the post office.

The job of the Tutors is to check the assignment and send the results to the University official before starting the final exams.

Technically these numbers are added to the final percentage of each student.

The AIOU University has an online student portal where students can check their Assignment results after submitting the Assignment. Every student has an AIOU Login provided by the officials at the time of admission.

AIOU Assignment Marks Distribution

According to the grading system of AIOU, the student is considered a failure in the subject/semester if he. or she gets less than 40% marks in the final exam. And if a student can get more than 80% it is considered as a good score overall.

AIOU Assignments Marks Graduation Students

As per the Assignment Marks system of AIOU graduation students need to submit at least 2 assignments each semester and for a few subjects, there are 4 assignments also. Students can get all the details about assignments at the time of AIOU Account Registration and Admission .

Students can submit the assignment online to their respective tutors and also can send hand-written assignments via the post office.

AIOU Assignments Marks Intermediate & FA

As per AIOU and HEC if a student will not submit the assignment due to any reason he/she will be considered as failing the final exam. There is no excuse at all for assignment submission.

The number of assignment that need to be submitted for FA/Intermediate students also depend on the subject. You can check it in the prospectus of the University which you got at the time of admission. You can also check by AIOU Students Portal by logging in to the account.

How much assignments marks are added in final result.

It is mandatory for every student to submit the assignments and get passing marks in Assignments. In the final result, 70% Marks are counted from your Final Exams and 30% Marks are counted from your Assignments.

What if I do not submit Assignments?

If you do not submit your assignments or you are failed to get passing marks in assignments then in your result Re-Appear will be written. This means that you have to take the exams again and have to submit your assignments again.

Is it necessary to submit Assignments to Allama Iqbal Open University- AIOU?

Yes, It is necessary to submit AIOU Assignments to your tutor else you will be considered to fail in your final result. You will also get failed in your final results if you are unable to get passing marks in your assignments. Your AOU Tutor marks your assignments in the same way as your papers are checked in the annual examination.
