मैंने कई अच्छी-अच्छी पुस्तकें पढ़ी हैं। वे मुझे पसंद भी आई हैं। परंतु मेरी सबसे प्रिय पुस्तक है “ पंचतंत्र की कहानियाँ’ । इस संग्रह में कई रोचक व शिक्षाप्रद कहानियाँ हैं। बहुत समय पहले इन कहानियों को लिखा गया था, परन्तु आज भी इनकी ताजगी पहले जैसी ही है। इनको लिखने वाले एक अत्यन्त विद्वान व्यक्ति थे जिनका नाम था विष्णु शर्मा। यह कहानी संग्रह मैंने एक पुस्तक मेले में खरीदा था।

पंचतंत्र की कई कहानियाँ मुझे जबानी याद हैं। इन कहानियों में पशु-पक्षियों के माध्यम से बहुत-सी नैतिक और व्यावहारिक बातें समझाई गईं हैं। मानव-स्वभाव और प्रकृति का इनमें अच्छा प्रदर्शन देखा जा सकता है। ये कहानियाँ सचमुच अद्भुत हैं।

मनोरंजक होने के साथ-साथ शिक्षा की दृष्टि से भी इन कहानियों का बड़ा महत्व है। इन कथा-कहानियों को कहने-सुनने में मुझे बड़ा आनन्द आता है। ये कहानियाँ एक पाठक या श्रोता को सहज ही पशु-पक्षियों के ऐसे संसार में ले जाती हैं जहां मानव चरित्र और स्वभाव का बहुत सुंदर व मनोवैज्ञानिक चित्रण हुआ है।

पुस्तकें मनुष्य की सच्ची मित्र हैं। वे बच्चों तथा बड़ों को विद्वान और महान् बनाती हैं। वे उन्हें ऊँची शिक्षा देती हैं। बच्चे, जवान तथा बूढ़े सब पुस्तकों से ज्ञान और मनोरंजन प्राप्त करते हैं।

मैं पाँचवीं कक्षा का विद्यार्थी हूँ। मुझे स्कूल में गणित, भूगोल, विज्ञान, इतिहास, हिन्दी तथा अंग्रेजी की पुस्तकें पढ़ाई जाती हैं। मैं उन पुस्तकों को घर पर तथा स्कूल में पढ़ता हूँ। इन सब पुस्तकों में मेरी प्रिय पुस्तक ‘ज्ञान सागर’ है। इसका पाँचवाँ भाग मुझे विद्यालय में पढ़ाया जाता है। इसके चार भाग मैं. पहले पढ़ चुका हूँ।

‘ज्ञान सागर’ वास्तव में बच्चों के लिए ज्ञान का भंडार है। इसमें सुन्दर उपदेश रोचक ढंग से दिए गए हैं। इसमें कहानियाँ, लेख, पत्र, जीवनियाँ तथा कविताएँ हैं। इसके सम्पादक श्री आनन्द हैं। इसमें 104 पृष्ठ हैं। इसका मूल्य केवल 50 रुपए है। पुस्तक में सुन्दर चित्र हैं जो पाठों को सरल और सरस बनाते हैं।

भिन्न-भिन्न विषयों की पुस्तकें पढ़ते-पढ़ते मन ऊब जाता है। ‘ज्ञान सागर’ में विविधता होने के कारण इसे पढ़ने से मन नहीं ऊबता। इसमें इतिहास, विज्ञान, राजनीति और दूसरे विषयों की बातें दी गई हैं। इन्हें पढ़कर न केवल हमारा ज्ञान बढ़ता है अपितु मनोरंजन भी होता है। महापुरुषों की जीवनियों को पढ़कर हम अपने जीवन को महान बना सकते हैं। कविताओं को पढ़ने से एक विशेष प्रकार के आनन्द की अनुभूति होती है। कहानियाँ और एकांकी मनोरंजन के साथ-साथ हमारा ज्ञान भी बढ़ाते हैं।

मैं अपनी प्रिय पुस्तक ज्ञान सागर को सँभाल कर रखता हूँ।

जीवन में पुस्तकें पढ़ने का अपना ही आनन्द है। पुस्तकें हमारा ज्ञान बढ़ाने के साथसाथ स्वस्थ मनोरंजन भी करती हैं। यही कारण है कि विद्यार्थी अपनी पाठ्य-पुस्तकों के अतिरिक्त अन्य पुस्तकें भी पढ़ते हैं। मुझे भी पढ़ने का शौक है। मैंने अनेक कहानी, उपन्यास तथा काव्य पुस्तकें पढ़ी हैं। इनमें मुझे कई काफी अच्छी लगी, पसन्द आईं परन्तु मुझे सबसे अच्छी लगी ‘राम चरित-मानस’। यही मेरी प्रिय पुस्तक है।

‘राम चरित मानस’ तुलसीदास की अमर रचना है। यह हिन्दुओं का परम पवित्र धार्मिक ग्रन्थ है। आप कहेंगे कि धार्मिक ग्रन्थ होने के कारण ही मुझे रामचरित मानस सबसे अच्छा लगा तो बात ऐसी, नहीं है। रामचरित मानस में वे सभी गुण हैं जो एक आदर्श रचना में होने चाहिए। यही कारण है कि धनी-निर्धन सभी इस ग्रन्थ का आदर करते हैं। यह रचना सबको प्रिय है।

रामचरित मानस की भाषा अवधी है। इसमें श्रीराम के जीवन चरित्र का वर्णन बालकाण्ड, अयोध्याकाण्ड, अरण्यकाण्ड, किष्किन्धा काण्ड, सुन्दरकाण्ड तथा लंकाकाण्ड, उत्तरकाण्ड इन सात काण्डों – किया गया है। सारा काव्य दोहा-चौपाई छन्द में लिखा गया है।

राम चरित मानस एक समन्वय ग्रन्थ है। इसमें वैष्णव तथा शव मत का तथा आर्य एवं द्रविड़ सभ्यता का समन्वय किया गया है। एक आदर्श रचना है। इसमें बताया गया है कि पिता कैसा होना चाहिए-दशरथ जैसा, पुत्र कैसा होना चाहिए-राम जैसा, माता कैसी ” होनी चाहिए-कौशल्या जैसी, पत्नी कैसी हो-सीता जैसी, भाई कैसा हो-भरत जैसा, सेवक कैसा हो-हनुमान जैसा, मित्र कैसा हो-सुग्रीव तथा विभिषण जैसा, शत्रु कैसा हो-रावण जैसा।

मानव जीवन की सभी समस्याओं का हल मानस में मिल जाता में है। यही कारण है कि आज विश्व की प्रायः सभी प्रमुख भाषाओं में- मेरी प्रिय पुस्तक ‘राम चरित-मानस’ का अनुवाद हो चुका है। विश्व के सभी भागों के लोग रामचरित मानस के अध्ययन में रुचि ले रहे । है। ऐसी महान धार्मिक पुस्तक मेरी प्रिय पुस्तक है, मुझे इस बात का गर्व है।

मैं ने गर्मी की छुट्टियों में ‘गाँधी जी की आत्म-कथा’ नामक पुस्तक पढ़ी। वह मुझे बहुत पसंद आयी। गाँधी जी के जीवन का बड़ा प्रभाव मुझ पर पड़ा।

गाँधी जी ने बचपन में ‘सत्य हरिश्चंद्र’ नाटक देखा था। उन्होंने अपने जीवन में सत्य-व्रत का पालन करने का निर्णय किया था। एक बार स्कूल इन्स्पेक्टर उनकी कक्षा में आये । इन्सपेक्टर ने विद्यार्थियों से कुछ शब्द लिखने केलिए कहा। गाँधी जी ने एक-दो शब्द गलत लिखे थे। अध्यापक ने उससे बगल के विद्यार्थी को देखकर सही शब्द लिखने केलिए कहा। उन्होंने वैसे नहीं किया। इन्सपेक्टर के पूछने पर सही बात बतायी। इससे अध्यापक नाराज हुए। गाँधी जी ने जीवन-भर सत्य व्रत का पालन किया।

गाँधी जी ने श्रावण कुमार के माता-पिता की भक्ति कथा की फिल्म देखी थी। इससे प्रभावित होकर वे भी माँ-बाप के प्रति श्रद्धा-भक्ति रखते थे।

गाँधीजी की माँ का प्रभाव उन पर बहुत अधिक था। जिस दिन आकाश में बादल छाये रहते थे और सूर्य नहीं दिखायी पड़ता था, उस दिन गाँधी जी की माँ उपवास का व्रत रखती थी। इसी कारण गाँधी जी स्वतंत्रता-आंदोलन के समय कई दिन अनशन व्रत रखते थे। माता जी की अहिंसा प्रवृत्ति का ज्यादा प्रभाव गाँधी जी पर था। इसी कारण वे अंग्रेजों से लड़ते समय अहिंसा की बातें करते थे।

गाँधी जी की आत्म-कथा का मेरे जीवन पर गहरा प्रभाव पड़ा है। मैंने भी गाँधी जी की तरह सत्य बोलने का निर्णय लिया है। मैं भी अपने माँ-बाप के प्रति भक्ति दिखाना चाहता हूँ। मैं एकादशी को उपवास का- व्रत रखता हूँ। मैं अहिंसा में विश्वास रखता हूँ। इस प्रकार इस पुस्तक ने मेरे नटखट स्वभाव को बहुत परिवर्तित कर दिया है।

भूमिका

कुछ पुस्तकें कालजयी होती हैं; क्योंकि वे जाति विशेष के जीवन, भाव और विचारधारा की सशक्त अभिव्यकति होती है। रामचरित मानस हिन्दू जाति और समाज की भावनाओं, विचारों और दशा का बहुत कलात्मक ढ़ग से व्यक्त करता है। इसकी रचना महाकवि गोस्वामी तुलसीदास ने की है। यह आज से चार सौ साल से अधिक वर्ष पहले रची गयी थी। इसकी रचना जनभाषा अवधी में की गई है। यह हिन्दी साहित्य का सर्वश्रेष्ठ महाकाव्य है। इसमें मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम रामचन्द्रजी के परम अलौकिक चरित्र का वर्णन किया गया है। इसमें दोहा और चौपाई छंद का प्रयोग किया गया है। यह भारतीय जनता का बहुत लोकप्रिय काव्य है। इसका अनुवाद अनेक देशी विदेशी भाषाओं में हो चुका है।

कथानक

राजा दशरथ अयोध्या के राजा थे। इनकी तीन रानियाँ थींकौशल्या, कैकेयी और सुमित्रा। कौशल्या से राम, कैकेयी से भरत तथा सुमित्रा से लक्ष्मण और शत्रुघ्न का जन्म हुआ था। चारों भाई अल्पकाल में विद्योपार्जन में पूर्ण सफल रहे। विश्वामित्र नामक ऋषि राक्षसों से मुनियों की रक्षा के लिए राम और लक्ष्मण को राजा दशरथ से माँग, जंगल ले गए। राम और लक्ष्मण ने अनेक राक्षसों का वध किया और मुनियों की रक्षा की। कुछ दिनों बाद विश्वामित्र दोनों भाइयों को लेकर जनकपुर गए। वहाँ राजा जनक की कन्या का स्वयंवर रचा गया था। राम ने शिवधनुष तोड़ा। राम का सीता के साथ विवाह हुआ। अयोध्या लौटने पर राम को राजगद्दी पर बैठाने का आयोजन किया जाने लगा। विमाता कैकेयी राजा दशरथ से वरदान माँगकर राम को चौदह वर्ष का वनवास और भरत को अयोध्या का राजा बनाने का उपक्रम करती हैं। राम सीता और लक्ष्मण के साथ पिता की आज्ञा पाकर वन चले जाते हैं। दशरथ, पुत्र-शोक में प्राण त्याग देते हैं। ननिहाल से लौटकर भरत जब यह समाचार सुनते हैं तब बहुत दुखी होते हैं। वे अयोध्यावासियों के साथ चित्रकूट जाकर राम को लौटा लाने का प्रयास करते हैं। राम भरत को समझा-बुझाकर अयोध्या वापस कर देते हैं। भरत राम की खड़ाऊ लेकर अयोध्या लौट आते हैं। भरत राम की खड़ाऊ को राजगद्दी पर आसीन कर राज्य का संचालन करते हैं।

राम अनेक राक्षसों का वध करते हैं। एक दिन रावण की बहन लक्ष्मण द्वारा अपमानित होती है। यह समाचार पाकर रावण छल से सीता का अपहरण कर लेता है और लंका की अशोक वाटिका में रखता है। इस समाचार से राम बहुत दुःखी होते हैं। राम वनवासियों की सहायता से लंका पर चढ़ाई करते हैं। राम और रावण के बीच घनघोर युद्ध होता है। रावण मारा जाता है। राम, सीता को लेकर अयोध्या लौटते हैं और राजगद्दी पर बैठते हैं।

महत्व एवं उपयोगिता

रामचारेत मानस एक साहित्यिक कृति के साथ महत्वपूर्ण धार्मिक ग्रन्थ है। सत्य और धर्म के महत्व पर इस रचना में प्रकाश डाला गया है। यह भी बताया गया है अधर्म पर धर्म की विजय होती है। इस ग्रन्थ में समाज और परिवार के हर सदस्य के कर्त्तव्य पर सुन्दर प्रकाश डाला गया है। रामचरित मानस, निराश दिन्द जनता में आशा का संचार करता है। राम राजा बनने के बाद रामराज्य की स्थापना करते हैं। इस राज्य में कोई दुःखी नहीं है, अन्याय-अत्याचार का नामोनिशान नहीं है। मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम राम का दिव्य चरित्र प्रत्येक मनुष्य को आदर्श चरित्र प्रदान करता है। समाज, राजनीति, धर्म, नैतिकता आदि के आदर्श रूप का बहुत सुन्दर वर्णन इस ग्रन्थ में हआ है। कौशल्या आदर्श माता हैं, सीता आदर्श पत्नी, भरत और लक्ष्मण आदर्श भाई, राम आदर्श राजा हैं, हनुमान आदर्श सेवक। निषादराज और शबरी के साथ राम का व्यवहार समानता के आधार पर होता है जो ऊँच-नीच के भेदभाव दूर करने की शिक्षा देता है। लोक कल्याण के लिए राम का वन-वन भटकना, ऋषियों मुनियों की राक्षसों से रक्षा करना, अत्याचारियों का विनाश करना, प्रजा का हित साधन करना हमारे सम्मुख राम का महान आदर्श प्रस्तुत करता है।

उपसंहार

आज रामचरित मानस की रचना को चार सौ वर्ष से भी अधिक हुए, किन्तु इसका महत्व अभी भी उतना है जितना रचनाकाल में था। रामचरित मानस की प्रासंगिकता कभी कम नहीं होगी; क्योंकि इसमें मनुष्य के शाश्वत मूल्यों की स्थापना की गयी है। विश्व के प्रख्यात विद्वानों ने इस ग्रन्थ की भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा की है। रूसी विद्वान वरनाकोव तो इस ग्रन्थ पर इतना अभिभूत थे कि मरने बाद अपनी कब्र पर निम्नलिखित चौपाई खुदवाने का अनुरोध अपने उत्तराधिकारियों से किया था

परहित सरिस धर्म नहिं भाई। परपीड़ा सम नहिं अधभाई।।

रामचरित मानस की लोकप्रियता जितना विद्वानों के बीच है उतना ही साधारण जनता के बीच भी। रामचरित मानस एक कालजयी और अमर कृति है। इस ग्रन्थ पर हमें गर्व है। अपने इन्हीं गुणों और विशेषताओं के कारण रामचरित मानस हमारी प्रिय पुस्तक है। मैं इसका नियमित पाठ कर आनन्द और सन्तोष प्राप्त करता हूँ।

मैंने बहुत सी किताबों को पढ़ा है, जिनमें से कुछ मेरे पाठ्यक्रम की है जो मेरे बौद्धिक क्षमता को बढ़ाती है तो कुछ किताबें मेरा मनोरंजन भी करती है। बचपन में मेरे माता-पिता ने मुझे पढ़ने के लिए कहानियों की पुस्तकें देते थे, जिसे पढ़ना मेरे लिए बहुत आनंददायी और ज्ञानवर्धक सिद्ध होती थी।

पंचतंत्र की किताब में सारस और केकड़े की एक कहानी है। जिसमें हमें केकड़े की बुद्धि और विवेक का परिचय देखने को मिलता है। इस कहानी में एक बूढ़ा सारस होता है जो अपना भोजन या शिकार आसानी से नहीं ढूढ़पाता था। एक दिन वह तालाब के किनारे वाले पेड़ पर बैठा था और तालाब में ढ़ेर सारी मछलियां, मेढ़क औरकेकड़े को तालाब में देखा। गर्मियों का मौसम होने के कारण तालाब में पानी कम ही बचा था। इसलिए तालाब के सभी जीव बहुत दुखी थे। तब इस चालक सारस ने इन मछलियों, मेढकों और केकड़ों को खाने की एक योजना बनाई। सारस ने तालाब के पास जाकर सभी जलीय जंतुओं से उनके उदासी का कारण पूछा तो सबने तालाब के पानी कम होने का कारण बताया।

तब सारस ने सबसे झूठ कहा की पहाड़ी के उस पार एक बहुत बड़ा तालाब है जिसमें ढेर सारा पानी भी हैं। उसने कहा यदि सब चाहे तो मैं एक-एक करके सभी को अपनी चोंच में पकड़ कर उस तालाब में छोड़ सकताहूं। पर असल में वह सभी को खाना चाहता था। सभी ने आपस में निर्णय कर एक-एक कर उसके साथ उस तालाब में जाने का निर्णय लिया। पर केकड़े ने सारस की चालाकी को समझ गया और जब उसके साथ जाने लगा तो वह सारस के गर्दन में लटकने का फैसला किया। जाते समय उसने सारस को मार कर केकड़ा वहां से भाग निकला।

पंचतंत्र की किताब मेरी पसंदीदा किताब है। इसकी कहानियां पढ़कर मुझे बहुत खुशी और साहस मिलती है। यह किताब हमें जीवन की नैतिक मूल्यों से भी परिचित कराती है। पुस्तकें हमें सारी दुनिया की जानकारी और उनके बारे में ज्ञान देती हैं, इसलिए वो हमारी सबसे अच्छी मित्र कही जाती हैं। एक अच्छे मित्र की तरह यह हमारी मदद करती हैं। हमें ज्ञान प्रदान करती है और हमारा मनोरंजन भी करती हैं।

निबंध – 2 मेरा पसंददीदा पुस्तक – महाभारत (400 शब्द)

सैकड़ो ऐसी किताबें हैं जिन्हें हम अपने जीवन में पढ़ते हैं। इनको पढ़ने से ही हमें रोचकता और हमारे ज्ञान का विकास होता है। कुछ ऐसी किताबें होती हैं जो हमें जीवन में बहुत अधिक प्रेरित करती हैं, और यह हमारे जीवन की सबसे अच्छी किताब होती है।

मेरा पसंदीदा पुस्तक का वर्णन

महाभारत मेरा पसंदीदा किताबों में से एक है। इसे पढ़ने से पहले मुझे इस महाकाव्य के बारे में कुछ भी नहीं पता था। यह पुस्तक मेरे दादा-दादी ने मेरे जन्मदिवस पर उपहार के रूप में दीया था। शुरू में जब मैंने इस किताब को पढ़ना आरम्भ किया तो यह मुझे थोड़ा उबाऊ प्रतीत हुआ, इसलिए मैंने इसे अपने पुस्तकों के दराज़ में सुरक्षित रख दीया। बाद में जब टेलीविजन पर महाभारत का नाट्य रूपांतरण दिखाया गया तो वह मुझे काफी दिलचस्प लगी। वह नाट्य उस दिन थोड़ी ही दिखाई गई थी और मुझे जल्दी से इसकी पूरी कहानी को जानना था। इसलिए मैंने इस महाभारत की किताब पढ़नी शुरू कर दी।

महाभारत हिन्दू सांस्कृतिक की प्रमुख महाकाव्यों में से एक है। यह महर्षि वेदव्यास द्वारा लिखित महाकाव्य है। इस महाकाव्य में 10,000 श्लोक निहित हैं। यह महाकाव्य मुख्यतः पांडवों और कौरवों के बीच हस्तिनापुर के राज शासन को प्राप्त करने की लड़ाई पर आधारित है। इस महाकाव्य के अनुसार कुरुक्षेत्र में इसकी लड़ाई लड़ी गई थी।

महाभारत की कहानी संक्षेप में

यह महाकाव्य मुख्य रूप से कौरवों और पांडवों की कहानी पर आधारित है। धृतराष्ट्र और पाण्डु दो भाई थे। धृतराष्ट्र बड़े थे पर जन्म से ही वो अंधे थे, इसलिए शासन का सारा कार्यभार पाण्डु को सौप दिया गया। पाण्डु की अकस्मातिक मृत्यु के पश्चात् धृतराष्ट्र को शासन सौपा गया जब तक पाण्डु के बेटे शासन के काबिल न हो जाये। धृतराष्ट्र के सौ पुत्र थे जिनमें से दुर्योधन सबसे बड़ा पुत्र था। पाण्डु के पांच पुत्र थे, युधिष्ठिर, अर्जुन, भीम, नकुल और सहदेव। जिन्हे पांच पांडव के नाम से जाना गया। दुर्योधन ने पांडवों को चौसर खेलने के लिए आमंत्रित किया जिसे पांडवों ने स्वीकार कर लिया। इस खेल में पांडवों ने अपना सब कुछ खो दिया दौपदी को भी।

सब कुछ दुर्योधन के हाथों हारने के बाद इन्हें 13 वर्षों के लिए राज्य से निर्वासन की सजा मिली। निर्वासन की अवधी पूरी करने के बाद जब पांडव इन्द्रप्रस्थ लौटे तब दुर्योधन ने हस्तिनापुर पड़ावों को वापस देने से इंकार कर दिया। नतीजतन पांडवों को न्याय और धर्म की लड़ाई लड़नी पड़ी। बाद में पांडवों ने कौरवों और उनकी सेना को हराकर युद्ध को जीत लिया।

कौरवों और पांडवों के इस लड़ाई में अर्जुन अपने भाइयों और अपने रिश्तेदारों से लड़ने के लिए बिल्कुल तैयार न थे। तब अर्जुन को भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने समझाया और उन्हें जीवन के ज्ञान का बोध कराया। कृष्ण द्वारा अर्जुन को दिए इस ज्ञान को “भगवत गीता” के नाम से जाना गया। इस पुस्तक में जीवन के ज्ञान का भंडार है। यह महाकाव्य महाभारत का ही एक हिस्सा है।

इस महाकाव्य के अंतर्गत 18 अध्याय और 700 श्लोक शामिल हैं। यह हमें जीवन के महत्वपूर्ण पाठों के साथ जीवन का आध्यात्मिक पाठ भी सिखाता है।

भगवान श्री कृष्ण अर्जुन को उपदेश देते हैं कि केवल शरीर का नाश होता है, आत्मा का नहीं। आत्मा एक शरीर को छोड़ती है तो दूसरे शरीर को धारण कर लेती है। आत्मा अजर और अमर है। गीता में समझाया गया है कि परिणामों की चिंता किये बिना हमें अपने कर्म करने की आवश्यकता है। अपनी मेहनत से किये गए कार्य का परिणाम हमें अवश्य ही प्राप्त होता है। इसमें कहा गया है की मनुष्य का जीवन संघर्षों से भरा है और उसे एक दृढ़ निश्चय के साथ अपने जीवन के संघर्षों का सामना करने की आवश्यकता है।

महाभारत में दिए उपदेश मुझे बेहद पसंद है। यही उपदेश हमारे जीवन में उपस्थित समस्याओं को हल करने में हमारी मदद करती है। महाभारत की कहानी में हर किरदार का अपना एक महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है और इससे हमें अलग-अलग जीवन जीने के उद्देश्यों को सीखने की आवश्यकता हे।

निबंध – 3 मेरा पसंददीदा पुस्तक – रामायण (600 शब्द)

किताबें पढ़ना जीवन में एक अच्छी आदत की तरह होती है। यह हमारे अंदर के ज्ञान और हमारे नैतिक मूल्यों को बढ़ाता है। जीवन में हर किसी को किताब पढ़ने की अच्छी आदत को अपनाना चाहिए। किताबें हमारे जीवन में एक सच्चे साथी की तरह होते हैं। ये सभी पुस्तके ज्ञान का भंडार होती हैं और पढ़ने की एक अच्छी आदत को अपनाकर हम अपने जीवन में सभी ज्ञान को अर्जित कर सकते हैं।

अपने जीवन में मैंने कई किताबें पढ़ी हैं। मुझे उपन्यास और कहानियों की किताबें पढ़ने का बहुत शौक है। मुझे रामायण की किताब बहुत ही पसंद है। ऋषि वाल्मीकि द्वारा लिखी रामायण, महाभारत के बाद दूसरी सबसे बड़ी महाकाव्य है। यह हिन्दुओं के लिए बहुत पवित्र पुस्तक के रूप में जानी जाती है।

रामायण की कहानी

महान महाकाव्य रामायण भगवान राम के जीवन चरित्र को दर्शाती है। राम अयोध्या नरेश दशरथ के पुत्र थे। राजा दशरथ की तीन रानियां थी और राम, लक्ष्मण, भरत और शत्रुघ्न चार पुत्र थे। इन चारों भाइयों में आपस में बहुत प्रेम था।

सभी चारों भाइयों ने अपनी शिक्षा हासिल करने के लिए अयोध्या से बहार गए और अपनी शिक्षा पूरी की। बाद में सभी ने अपनी शिक्षा पूरी की और अयोध्या वापस आये। सभी का एक साथ ही विवाह संपन्न हुआ। राम का विवाह सीता के साथ हुआ। भगवन राम अपने पिता दशरथ द्वारा माता कैकेयी को दिए वचन का पालन करने के लिए 14 वर्षों के लिए वनवास जाना पड़ा। वनवास तो सिर्फ राम को मिला था पर सीता ने अपने पत्नी धर्म का पालन करते हुए उनके साथ गई और साथ में उनके छोटे भाई लक्ष्मण भी गए। सभी एक साथ 14 वर्ष के वनवास के लिए निकल गए।

वनवास के दौरान 13 वर्ष का समय शांतिपूर्वक बीत गया पर 14वें वर्ष के दौरान राक्षस राज रावण ने सीता का हरण कर लिया। रावण ने सीता का छल से अपहरण करके लंका ले गया। तब राम ने रावण से युद्ध कर सीता को उनके चंगुल से मुक्त कराया और अपने साथ अयोध्या ले आये। राम, सीता और लक्ष्मण के साथ अयोध्या वापस लौटने के बाद राम को अयोध्या का राजा घोषित किया गया। उन्होंने अपने जीवन में कई राक्षसों को मारा और संतों की रक्षा की। राम अयोध्या वासियों के लिए एक आदर्श राजा थे। अपनी प्रजा के मन की बातों को जानने के लिए वो अक्सर भेष बदलकर प्रजा के बीच जाते थे और बाद में उनकी समस्या का समाधान करते थे।

रामायण के पात्रों से मिली सीख

वैसे तो रामायण के मुख्य रूप से कई पात्र है जिनसे हमें सीख लेने की आवश्यकता है। उनमें से कुछ मुख्य पात्रों का हमारे जीवन में बहुत गहरा असर छोड़ती हैं।

वे अपने माता-पिता और अयोध्या वासियों के लिए एक आदर्श पुत्र थे। जिन्होंने अपने पिता के वचनों का पालन करने के लिए राजसी सुख को त्याग कर 14 वर्षों के वनवास को अपनाया। सीता के लिए वो एक आदर्श पति, अपने भाइयों के लिए वो एक आदर्श भाई और अयोध्या वासियों के लिए एक आदर्श राजा थे।

सीता का विवाह भगवान राम के साथ हुआ था और वह एक आदर्श पत्नी थी। राम को वनवास मिलने पर अपने पत्नी धर्म का पालन करने के लिए वो राम के साथ गयी। उन्होंने कहा था की पति को निर्वासन मिलने के बाद वो राजसी सुख कैसे भोग सकती है। अपने पत्नी धर्म और वचनों का पालन करते हुए वो सदा ही राम के साथ रही।

लक्ष्मण एक आदर्श भाई का प्रतिक है। वो अपने बड़े भाई राम को सबसे ज्यादा प्रिय थे और छोटे होने के साथ ही वो हमेशा राम की सेवा में लगे रहते थे। सभी चारों भाइयों में बहुत ही प्रेम था।

भरत एक आदर्श भाई का प्रतिरूप है। राम को 14 वर्ष के वनवास और माता कैकेयी के वचनों के अनुसार भरत को राजा बनाया गया था पर वो कभी भी राजगद्दी पर नहीं बैठे। सिहासन पर उन्होंने राम की खड़ाऊ रखी थी और खुद एक झोपड़ी बनाकर उसमें एक वनवासी जैसा जीवन व्यतीत करते थे। ऐसे कई उदाहरण हैं जिससे उनके आदर्श भाई और बड़े भाई के सम्मान का प्रतिक उनमें देखने को मिलता है।

राम के भक्तों में शबरी का अपना एक महत्त्वपूर्ण चरित्र है। उन्होंने भगवान राम से मिलने की आस में रोज राहों में फूल बिछाती और जंगलो से चुनिंदा फल बेर लाती थी। अंत में उनकी ये इच्छा भी पूरी हुई और इस बात से हमें सन्देश मिलता है की हमें अपनी उम्मीद कभी नहीं खोनी चाहिए और अपना प्रयास को जारी रखना चाहिए।

रामायण के सभी पात्र का अपना एक महत्वपूर्ण स्थान हैं – जैसे हनुमान राम के सबसे बड़े भक्त थे। इसके अलावा राम की सभी माताएं, चारों भाई और रावण इत्यादि सभी एक सन्देश देते हैं।

रामायण पढ़ने के बाद नैतिक मूल्यों का विकास

रामायण को पढ़ने के उपरांत पता चला की हमें अपने जीवन में उदार भावना के साथ-साथ साहसी और बहादुर होना चाहिए। जीवन में सुख और दुःख दोनों चरण होते हैं। इन दोनों को सहजता से हमें अपने जीवन में अपनाने की आवश्यकता है।

महाकाव्य के अनुसार हमें अपने से बड़ों की बातों को और शिक्षकों द्वारा दिए गए ज्ञान का सम्मान करना चाहिए। उनके द्वारा कही गई हर बात को सुनना और उसका पालन करने की आवश्यकता हैं।

यह महाकाव्य हमें सिखाती है कि गलत और बुरे काम का परिणाम हमेशा ही बुरा होता है। हमें अपने जीवन में सफलता प्राप्त करने के लिए सकारात्मक ऊर्जा का सही दिशा में प्रयोग करने की आवश्यकता है। राक्षस राज रावण बहुत ही विद्वान और बलशाली राजा था, पर उसने छल से सीता का हरण किया था। विद्वान होने के बावजूद उसने अपने विवेक और बुद्धि का उपयोग सही तरीके से नहीं किया। अंततः उसका हर्जाना उसे अपने मृत्यु से चुकाना पड़ा। इसलिए हमें हमेशा अपनी बुद्धि और विवेक का इस्तेमाल कर किसी भी कार्य को करने की आवश्यकता है। तभी हम उस कार्य को आसानी से सफल बना सकते है।

महाकाव्य रामायण में अपार ज्ञान और जीवन जीने के सिद्धांत हैं। लगभग हर घरों में रामायण की किताब मिल जाती है। मुझे इस किताब को बार-बार पढ़कर उनके जीवन जीने के नैतिक मूल्यों को समझना और उसे जीवन में अपनाना बहुत ही पसंद है। जिनके घरों में यह पुस्तक नहीं है, उन्हें एक बार जरूर इस किताब को पढ़ने की आवश्यकता है, क्योंकि इसमें जीवन की तमाम आध्यात्मिक और नैतिक बातें बताई गयी है।

प्रत्येक युग में मानव हृदय अपने काव्य साहित्य में ही आत्मशान्ति के मूल को खोजता रहा है। रामचरितमानस इस मानव को आत्मशांति की अलग दुनिया में ले जाता है जहाँ शिष्टाचार, सदाचार और सद्व्यवहार को ही सर्वोपरि माना गया है। जहाँ लज्जा मनुष्य का आभूषण बन जाती है, जहाँ आत्मा में झांकने पर परमात्मा साक्षात् दिख जाते हैं।

‘ स्वान्तः सुखाय तुलसी रघुनाथ गाथा भाषा निबन्ध मति मंजुल मातनोति । ‘

ज्ञान की राशि को हमारे जीवन में बिखेर देने में पुस्तकों का अपूर्व योगदान है। ऐसे तो प्रत्येक पुस्तक हमारे जीवन पर कुछ-न-कुछ प्रभाव छोड़ती है पर हमें देखना है कि कौन-कौन-सी पुस्तक हमारे जीवन में व्यापक और गहरा यानी अमिट प्रभाव छोड़ पायी है। अपने-अपने दृष्टिकोण के अनुरूप प्रत्येक व्यक्ति की पसन्द होगी। संस्कार और वातावरण के चलते व्यक्ति की रुचि बदलती हैं। जिन्हें धर्म और अध्यात्मक के प्रति विशेष ममता होगी वे सम्भवतः वैदिक संस्कृत साहित्य को ही श्रेष्ठ समझेंगे। इसी प्रकार कुछ लोगों की दृष्टि में दर्शन, कुछ की दृष्टि में राजनीति और फिर कुछ की दृष्टि में साहित्य की पुस्तक ही उत्तम होगी। मेरी सर्वप्रिय पुस्तक रामचरितमानस है इसके रचियता हिन्दी के सर्वश्रेष्ठ कवि-कुल- शिरोमणि तुलसीदास हैं।

रामचरितमानस एक महत्त्वपूर्ण रचना है, यह आर्य धर्म की प्रज्वलित दीपशिखा है। भक्ति की निर्मल धारा है, गृहस्थ जीवन की पथ प्रदर्शिका है समाज और राजनीति शास्त्र की टिप्पणी है, काव्य की देदीप्यमान मणि है। रामकथा का प्रचार-प्रसार तुलसी से पहले भी था, पर तुलसी की रामकथा के द्वारा जितनी अधिक शक्ति से जनता को सात्विक, कर्मशील और धर्मशील बनाया गया उतना अन्य रचनाओं से संभव नहीं हो सका। तुलसी ने राम के कल्याणकारी स्वरूप का यथार्थ चित्रण कर राम को भी अमर, प्रातःस्मरणीय, पूजनीय और जन-जन का कष्ट हर और हृदय सम्राट बना दिया।

मानस हमारे जीवन को ऊंचा उठाने में बहुत सहायक सिद्ध हुआ। इसमें आदर्श चरित्रों का जैसा चित्रण हुआ है वैसा अन्यत्र दुर्लभ है। इनमें महान् चरित्र को जीवन की विभिन्न परिस्थितियों में डालकर ग्रन्थकार ने यह दिखा है कि वे आदर्श पुत्र, आदर्श पति, आदर्श मित्र, आदर्श वीर, शरणागत वत्सल, धर्मप्रणव मानव, विश्व बंधु हैं। वे विश्व धर्म प्रतिमूर्ति है।

मानस का पात्र आदर्श ही नहीं हैं, बल्कि उनके पारस्परिक सम्बन्ध भी अनुकरणीय है। मानस में पिता, पुत्र, पति, पत्नी, भाई, बहन, गुरु, शिष्य, स्वामी सेवक आदि सम्बन्धों का निर्वाह आदर्श रूप में किया गया है। अगर मानस के पात्रों के आचरण के अनुकूल हम अपना आचरण बना ले तो हमारे परिवार और समाज में लगे विषाक्त कीटाणुओं को नष्ट करने के लिए ये पात्र रामबाण प्रमाणित हो सकते हैं।

तुलसी का रामचरितमानस भारतीय संस्कृति का महान् संरक्षक है। भारतीय दर्शन और ज्ञान के प्रमुख अध्याय यहीं मिलेंगे। काव्य परम्परा से दिव्य बनी हुई यह पुस्तक पवित्र साधना, सामाजिक आदर्श और सफल विश्वासों की पुस्तक है। इसमें नाश के खण्डहर में सृजन के फूल मुस्कुराते हैं। नृशंसता और दानवता के ऊपर मानवता जीत की मोहर लगाती है-यही वह सांस्कृतिक सन्देश है जो मानस की पंक्ति-पंक्ति में है। रामचरितमानस संस्कृति के टूटे अव्यवों को समेटने का पवित्र काव्य है। रामचरितमानस की साहित्यिक महत्ता की समानता अन्य कोई रचना नहीं कर सकती हैं।

रामचरितमानस प्रबन्ध काव्य है। गोस्वामी जी की प्रबन्ध-पटुता इसमें पूर्ण रूप से प्रकट हुई है। रामकथा आदि से अन्त तक अबाध गति में प्रवाहित हुई है और अभिन्न घटनाएं शृंखला की कड़ियों की भांति एक-दूसरे से जुड़े हुई है। कहीं भी कथा शैथिल्य नहीं आने पाया है। सफल चरित चित्रण एवं संवाद भी प्रबन्ध-पटुता के अंग है। रामचरितमानस में राम, भरत, सीता, लक्ष्मण, हनुमान, दशरथ, रावण, कैकेयी कौशल्या, मंदोदरी आदि पात्र, पात्रओं के बहुत मान्य चित्र अंकित है। इसकी सर्वप्रियता का प्रमुख कारण धार्मिक विशृंखलित वातावरण में एकता की स्थापना है। मानस में धर्म नीति के साथ राजनीति का सुन्दर चित्रण मिलता है। रामायण के अनुसार राजा को प्रजा वत्सल, विवेकी, दयालु, न्यायशील होना चाहिए। उसे धर्मनुसार व्यवहार करना चाहिए। गोस्वामी जी ने समाज के प्रधान या मुखिया जन प्रतिनिधि या राजा के विषय में कहा है-

मुखिया मुख ते चाहिए खान-पान को एक । पाले पौषै सकल अंग तुलसी सहित विवेक ॥

गोस्वामी जी प्राचीन काल से चल रहे सनातन धर्म के अनुयायी थे, इसलिए उन्होंने वर्ण और आश्रम धर्म को मुख्यतः श्रेष्ठ ठहराया है। वे सामाजिक उत्थान तथा सामाजिक व्यवस्था के लिए ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य और शूद्र को अपने-अपने वर्ण धर्मानुसार चलने का उपदेश देते हैं। उन्हें व्यक्तिगत जीवन में ब्रह्मचर्य, गृहस्थ, वानप्रस्थ और संन्यास आदि आश्रमों का अनुपालन इष्ट है।

They taught me the importance of reading. Subsequently, I have read several books. However, one boom that will always be my favourite is Harry Potter. It is one of the most intriguing reads of my life. I have read all the books of this series, yet I read them again as I never get bored of it.

Harry Potter Series

Harry Potter was a series of books authored by one of the most eminent writers of our generation, J.K. Rowling. These books showcase the wizarding world and its workings. J.K. Rowling has been so successful at weaving a picture of this world, that it feels real. Although the series contains seven books, I have a particular favourite. My favourite book from the series is The Goblet of fire.

When I started reading the book, it caught my attention instantly. Even though I had read all the previous parts, none of the books caught my attention as this one did. It gave a larger perspective into the wizarding world. One of the things which excite me the most about this book is the introduction of the other wizard schools. The concept of the Tri-wizard tournament is one of the most brilliant pieces I have come across in the Harry Potter series.

In addition, this book also contains some of my favourite characters. The moment I read about Victor Krum’s entry, I was star struck. The aura and personality of that character described by Rowling are simply brilliant. Further, it made me become a greater fan of the series.

What Harry Potter Series Taught Me?

Even though the books are about the world of wizards and magic, the Harry Potter series contains a lot of lessons for young people to learn. Firstly, it teaches us the importance of friendship. I have read many books but never come across a friendship like that of Harry, Hermoine, and Ron. These three musketeers stuck together throughout the books and never gave up. It taught me the value of a good friend.

Further, the series of Harry Potter taught me that no one is perfect. Everyone has good and evil inside them. We are the ones who choose what we wish to be. This helped me in making better choices and becoming a better human being. We see how the most flawed characters like Snape had goodness inside them. Similarly, how the nicest ones like Dumbledore had some bad traits. This changed my perspective towards people and made me more considerate.

Finally, these books gave me hope. They taught me the meaning of hope and how there is light at the end of the tunnel. It gave me the strength to cling on to hope in the most desperate times just like Harry did all his life. These are some of the most essential things I learned from Harry Potter.

In conclusion, while there were many movies made in the books. Nothing beats the essence and originality of the books. The details and inclusiveness of books cannot be replaced by any form of media. Therefore, the Goblet of Fire remains to be my favourite book.

The Ramcharitmanas is my favourite book. It has been rendered into beautiful Hindi (Avadhi) poetry by Goswami Tulsidas, the most famous saint of India ever produced. It deals with the story of Rama, the king of Ayodhya.

The Hindu worship Rama as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The Ramcharitmanas is the Bible of the Hindus. No devotee of Hinduism is unaware of this holy book in India.

The book depicts ideal manifestations of Characters like of a father, son, brother, husband and a king apart from other Mahatma Gandhi spoke of it very highly. Rama was his hero and "Ram Rajya"--was a model cum dream for him to convert it into reality.

The book gives me immense pleasure in reading. Everytime I read it-get refreshed and feel greatly uplifted. The Ramcharitmanas is a book of great social importance. It is the Magna Carta of the joint Hindu family. People all around the world must read it and look to it for deliverance.

I think a life is not worth living unless it conforms to the standards set by the characters in this great book which depicts the defeat of demonary practices and a win-win situation for the ultimate truth followers.

As I said my favorite book is Ramcharitmanas, actually Ramcharitmanas is a book through which we get education to many. We know that Lord Shri Ram is called Maryada Purushottam and Ramcharitmanas tells about the entire life of Shri Ram. That is why we get to learn a lot from the thoughts of Lord Shri Ram.

A lot of serials have been made on Ramayana and it is a favorite of the people. Recently, its serial was started on Doordarshan and people again and again watched this serial with great pleasure. Actually, we have seen Ramayan serial many times in the past, but Ramcharitmanas never fills our mind, at every turn, we get to receive some education or the other.

Ramcharitmanas is very much liked by small children to elders too, if they stop reading the book of Ramcharitmanas daily, they get peace in their mind. We should also read Ramcharitmanas from time to time, we get answers to many questions and this also expands our place. I read Ramcharitmanas from time to time and I have learned a lot from it and there are still many things to learn.

From time to time, we should read religious books such as Ramayana, Ramcharitmanas, Geeta, etc., from this we get to learn a lot, we can learn the answers to all the questions of life from these books. In every difficulty, we can overcome that difficulty with the help of these books.

“Reading maketh a full man”, said Sir Francis Bacon years ago. The saying still holds true. Reading for leisure is a good habit. It not only keeps the mind occupied but it increases one’s knowledge, keeps one peace and par with the world and develops the personality well.

I am also extremely fond of reading. Give me a good book and I am at home anywhere in this world. A book is my best friend. It takes me around the world, too far off places, exotic and mysterious lands, unknown people, to the heights of the skies and depth of the ocean. It thus enriches my imagination and strengthens my knowledge. I took up to reading as a serious habit when I was in 6 th standard. Since then, the habit has grown deeper and stronger. As a child I had read all the stories and fairy tales that my parents bought for me like Cinderella, Snow-white and the Seven Dwarfs, Jack and the Bean Stalk, Three Little Pigs, Red Riding Hood, Beauty and Best, Alice In Wonderland, pussy In Boots etc- the list is endless.

As I grew up I read children’s stories by Enid Blyton and the like. Presently, the detective stories of Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys have caught my imagination.

Besides these books, I have also read a number of stories, novels, a few dramas, essays and even poems. I also enjoy reading the daily news papers, magazines on science, art and current events.

But my affaires all-time favourite is the Ramcharitmanas by the great poet Tulsidas. I can read the great epic over again without getting bored or feeling that I have read before. The book never loses its charm. Rather, it is like the deep and vast ocean which presents a new jewel to me every time I plunge into it. In fact, I feel that the book, the story and everything about it has transcended the Indian mind, body and soul. Every Indian is familiar with the story as he is familiar with the air he breathes and the land he dwells on.

The story is narrated in a very interesting and engaging way. It never dwindles into monotony. Even though the language of the book is Avadhi, the reader does not feel that he is wandering into unknown realms. The epic is divided into several parts and each of its episodes can be developed into an independent story. The story relates the reasons of the birth of Lord Rama, the insistence of all the Gods and his life story, marriage to Sita, his going into exie and his conquering Lanka and defeating Ravana.

The epic is dispersed with social, political and religious wisdom. It is really about life and teacher’s one about the wisdom and very essence of life. It is a storehouse of wisdom and virtue. It stands as a monumental work in Hindu literature. The books depict life in all its colours, hues and shades. The poet has skillfully treated all the “Rasas” with equal dexterity. The use of similes, metaphors and various other figures of speech, ornamentation and embellishment is unsurpassed till now.

No other work has touched such great height as the Ramcharitmanas. It is also a religious book for the Hindus and its importance cannot be started in words. Yet the beauty and permanence of the book lies in the fact that it does not belong to any religion but to all the people of all ages, era and times.

The epic is a living code of conduct for all the people. It is an eternal symbol of virtue. Our sports teacher always motivates us and tells us that we will become good football players one day. My parents also know Siddharth very much, and they like his pleasant behavior. I'm currently on my second read through and I've reaffirmed the fact that this is my favorite book of all time. The "thousand layered complications" of this book are impossible to completely describe in a Reddit post. But it's a beautiful story that is bursting with humanity and charm. The Count is such a an excellent protagonist, I kind of take him everywhere I go if that makes sense? It's a book that has stayed with me since I first read it.
