Install Ghost Spectre Windows 10 from ISO
You can quickly install Ghost Spectre Windows 10 on your computer by following the tutorial provided below.
Follow the instructions, and the installation should take between ten to thirty minutes, based on your storage speed.
If you are thinking of getting Ghost Spectre 11 on your PC, it is not as simple as just launching the setup from the ISO.
First, you will need to create a bootable media. That will be used to install Spectre 10 on your PC.
And in order to do that, you will need a free bootable creator app like Rufus. It will help you create Spectre 10 bootable and ready to install.
1. Launch Rufus after plugging a flash drive with at least 6 GB of space.
Note – Your flash drive’s data will be deleted so back it up before starting this process.
2. Select the flash drive from the Device option that you will use for Spectre 10 bootable.
3. Click Select and import your Ghost Spectre Windows 10 ISO.
4. Assign a name to your Spectre 10 bootable drive. Or, you can leave it to Rufus which names it same as the ISO.
While you can name it anything, it would be better to pick something easily identifiable, especially if you are using a machine with multiple drives connected.
5. Next, click the Start button to initiate the bootable process. Within a few minutes, it will be complete and you will see a confirmation message.
You can easily install Ghost Spectre 10 on your PC when you are following the tutorial at each step.
Don’t worry, you can do it on your own and it will take under twenty minutes.
First, you need to find the boot menu key for your computer that shows the list of devices it can start from.
For our purpose, we will use this boot menu key to start the computer from the flash drive we made. This will let us install the Ghost Spectre 10 Windows Superlite.
Below is a list of these boot menu keys for popular computer and laptop brands.
If your laptop or motherboard is from a brand not mentioned here, you can Google “model number+ boot menu key” and get the boot menu key from their official or any reliable website.
1. Restart the computer and press the boot menu key to select the Spectre 10 ISO.
2. Select your language for the setup and then click next .
3. Then select the Spectre 10 version which you want to install. We selected WIN10PRO + Superlite + Def which comes with Microsoft Defender.
This version essentially has no bloatware but has the essential security component to keep your PC secure.
4. After that, tick I accept the license terms and then Next to continue.
5. Select Custom: Install Windows Only (advanced) for a fresh OS installation on the computer.
6. Select the partition to install Specte Windows 10 and then click Next .
7. Now sit back and let Ghost Spectre Windows 10 Supterlite get installed on your computer. It will take anywhere between ten to thirty minutes, depending upon your storage speed.
8. After a couple of restarts, you will have to enter a password for your user account. You will have to enter this every time for logging into Spectre 10 so make sure to remember it.
9. And finally you will land on Windows 10 Superlite’s desktop. You will only find a handful of apps preinstalled here.
Ghost Spectre Windows 10 comes with the most basic apps, only the ones which are essential to the operating system. But you need certain apps as your daily driver.
Spectre 10 comes with a command tool utility that lets you install important apps. They also let you bring back certain elements that are removed from the OS by default.
1. Launch the Ghost Toolbar from the desktop shortcut.
2. Now read the options and type the number of the app/driver/utility you want to install.
Then press enter to start the installation process as it will be downloaded and then installed on your PC.
Yes, Ghost Spectre Windows 10 Superlite can run with 2 GB RAM. You can use it for day-to-day browser usage and consuming content such as TV shows, and movies.
You can download Spectre Windows 10 using the links given above. All of them are in ISO format so you can either start the installation process directly or create a bootable.
Yes, you will continue to receive Windows 10 updates via the official channel. You can also stop it via the Ghost toolbox.
Anyone can download Spectre Windows 10 but getting the most of out it takes time.
Dive into the Ghost toolbox and you can personalize it the way you want. It has everything that you need to get the most of the Spectre 10.

Tiny10 23H2 is out—a lightweight and modern Windows 10 with multiple improvements
Taras Buria Neowin @TarasBuria · Aug 23, 2023 02:36 EDT · Hot! with 22 comments
Windows 10 and 11 are not the most compact operating systems—minimum hardware requirements demand at least 20GB of free disk space, which make modern Windows versions harder to run on less capable devices. This is where projects like tiny10 and tiny11 save the day, bringing you lightweight and debloated operating systems without sacrificing compatibility or key features. The latest tiny10 release, version 23H2, is now available for download with numerous improvements over the previous editions.
The big refresh begins! Introducing tiny10 23H2 x64! This much-requested release of tiny10 is a pretty major departure from previous versions in multiple ways that fixes lots of nagging issues that people have reported. It's also been rebuild using OSS utilities. pic.twitter.com/JmpAy2RXtf — NTDEV (@NTDEV_) August 23, 2023
According to @ NTDEV_ , the project's creator, tiny10 23H2 resolves multiple "nagging issues" from older versions. Rebuilding tiny10 with a new tool also improved compatibility with most Windows components, allowing customers to install extra features, such as Windows Media Player, whenever necessary. Also, NET Framework 3.5 is fully functional again.
To ensure tiny10 takes as little space as possible on your drive, the developer removed a few extra features, such as rarely used OCR and Tablet PC Math. Despite being significantly lighter than its "vanilla" counterpart, tiny10 does not compromise security—the standard Windows security bits, such as Microsoft Defender and BitLocker, are still there.
You can download tiny10 23H2 (built upon version 19044.3324) from the Internet Archive . For now, it is only available in the x64 variant, so those needing an x86 image should resort to tiny10 version 2303 from May 2023 . Another thing worth noting is that you still need a genuine Windows key to activate the operating system (older Windows 7 and 8.1 keys should work just fine).
Finally, always mind the potential risks of using a modified Windows ISO and ensure you trust its source before installing.

Download Windows 10 ISO 22H2 images (offline installer)
To download Windows 10 ISO files, you need to change the user agent in your browser or use the Media Creation Tool to create your own ISO. In this article, we’ll explain how to download it for free so you can get started.
Microsoft regularly refreshes its Windows 10 22H2 ISO media installation files with monthly security patches. The media installation was recently refreshed with the latest May 2023 update applied and is available in all editions, languages and two formats (64-bit and 32-bit).
Windows 10 version 22H2 update was released in November 2021 and is constantly updated with security and non-security fixes. Microsoft refreshed the Media Creation Tool a few days ago with May 2023 cumulative updates and older. This means you’ll have access to all new improvements, such as the new Windows Search experience.
To download the ISO file for Windows 10 November 2022 Update (version 22H2) from Microsoft’s website, you’ve two options – change your browser user agent to directly access the files or try the Media Creation Tool.
Important topics covered
Direct download Windows 10 ISO files from Microsoft
For those who need the ISO image immediately, follow the guide to get direct download links (valid for all editions) to download Windows 10 November 2022 Update:
- Windows 10 22H2 English (all editions) 64-bit – 5.8GB.
- Windows 10 22H2 English (all editions) 32-bit – 3.9GB.
The links generated from Microsoft servers will expire automatically after 24 hours of creation, and it is recommended to complete the download within a day by following the steps highlighted below.
To get a Windows 10 ISO file from Microsoft, use these steps:
- Open the default web browser . In this guide, we’re using Chromium ( Chrome ).
- In Chromium (Chrome, Edge, etc.), click on the three dots menu (…).
- Click on More Tools .
- This will open the developer window on the right side.
- Head to Microsoft’s download center with the developer window open.
- In the Developer window , click the three dots menu (…).
- Select a mobile browser by clicking on “ Custom …”.
- For example, you can select “ Chrome iPad ” or “ Chrome Android “.
- Press CTRL + F5 to open the download center in your new user agent . Don’t close the developer window.
- Under ‘ Select edition ‘, select ‘ Windows 10 November 2021 Update ‘ .
- Select the language for your ISO .
- Select either 32-bit or 64-bit . This makes a big difference, so you must be careful before downloading the files. You can verify the config from Settings > System > About .
You need to follow these steps because Microsoft’s download center is designed to force Media Creation Tool when the website is accessed on a Windows 10-powered PC.
When you follow the above steps, you’re making your web browser pretend you’re using another operating system. As a result, when you refresh the page in the browser after changing the user agent, Microsoft’s site will offer you the Windows 10 ISO instead of the Media Creation Tool.
If you follow the steps correctly, downloading the media images will start, and you can safely close the developer window.
Use the Media Creation Tool to create an ISO
The Windows 10 Media Creation Tool is also a great way to reinstall the operating system and download the necessary files from Microsoft.
To download ISO using the Media Creation Tool, follow these steps:
- On Windows 10, download the Media Creation tool from Microsoft’s website (under the Windows 10 installation media section). It’s not a large download, and it won’t take long to be finished.
- Click Yes and give it a few minutes to prepare the PC.
- Read the license agreement and click on the Accept button.
- You’ll see the ‘ Getting a few things ready ‘ screen on your PC when you’re done.
- On the next screen, you can upgrade the PC directly or create installation media (ISO file) for another PC.
- Select a location to save your ISO file and click the Save button .
- Once the download is complete, you can close the Media Creation Tool by clicking the Finish button.
Installing or updating using the ISO file
Windows 10 22H2 ISO files can be used in a variety of ways. If the Media Creation Tool and other programs are not working, manually install the operating system’s latest update without losing files/apps.
Before starting the media file, you need to know how it works.
An ISO image contains the installation files of Windows 10 with the latest cumulative and feature updates.
On Windows 10, there are a lot of tools to open these media files. However, you can always use File Explorer, which has built-in functionality to mount ISO natively without needing extra third-party software.
To update your device to Windows 10 version 22H2 using ISO files, follow these steps:
- Open File Explorer.
- Browse to the Downloads folder where the ISO image is located.
- Double-click “ Win10_22H2_v2_English_x64.iso ” file to mount it.
- In the folder, double-click Setup.exe .
- Accept terms and conditions.
- Click on Upgrade this PC.
- The tool will begin checking for quality updates, such as driver or cumulative updates, and will be downloaded automatically.
- Select the Keep personal files, programs and apps option. You’ll be given options to keep everything, but you can keep nothing and do a fresh install.
- When you’re sure about the selections, click ‘Install’ or ‘Next’, and the Windows 10 installation process will begin.
Windows 10’s Setup.exe and Media Creation Tool are the two easiest ways to complete the installation of any feature update. Windows Update and Update Assistant Tools can sometimes lag in rolling out newer versions, but there’s no stopping when you download the update manually.
ISO file is also perfect for clean installing the OS or building a USB flash drive to install Windows 10 on another machine.
How to create a bootable USB drive for installation on PC
Media Creation Tool makes it possible to create installation media or a bootable USB drive to install Windows 10 on another PC. For example, you can update your Windows installation or use the Media Creation Tool to upgrade other home or office PCs.
To create a bootable USB drive for Windows 10, use these steps:
- Open Microsoft’s download center.
- On the download page, look for “ Create Windows 10 installation media “, and and select the Download tool now button.
- This will download and save a file called MediaCreationTool22H2.exe to the preferred location.
- Double tap MediaCreationTool22H2.exe and accept the terms and conditions, including licensing agreements.
- In the tool, select Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC .
- Select Next .
- Select Use the recommended options for this PC , but you can select the other option if you want to change the installation options.
- Select the USB flash drive option and click Next .
- Identify and choose your USB drive and select Next.
Finally, Microsoft will download and save bits of Windows 10 media to your USB drive. “ Your USB flash drive is ready ” message will appear on the screen, and you can select Finish to close the installer.
You can plug in the bootable USB flash drive and head to UEFI or BIOS by holding down F12 during system boot, and finally start the ‘ Windows Setup ‘.
Burn the ISO to a DVD
- Right-click the Win10_22H2_v2_English_x64.iso .
- Select Burn disc image to launch Windows Disc Image Burner .
- Select the drive when asked.
- Select Burn to start the process, and you’ll have a bootable DVD ready.
- A bootable DVC can be used to boot your PC, and the process is the same as booting from a USB flash drive.
What is the size of the version 22H2 Update?
In our tests, we observed that the size of the Windows 10 22H2 ISO is 5.8GB, which means it should not be downloaded on metered/limited data connection. If you’re on a limited bandwidth, ensure you’ve at least six gigabytes of data.
It’s also worth noting that the links will expire after 24 hours, and the download won’t resume.
As always, you can skip the hassle of the media files and download/install Windows 10 22H2 using Windows Update Settings or Update Assistant.

Not even the ghost of obsolescence can coerce users onto Windows 11
It's a great advert for ubuntu anyway.
Windows 10 may be just shy of two years away from the ax, but its successor, Windows 11, appears to be as unpopular as ever.
The end of Windows 10 support is getting closer. Unless the company blinks, October 14, 2025, will be the end of the line for the Home and Pro editions of the operating system, yet users seem reluctant to move on to Windows 11.
There was a marked reluctance by users to move from Windows 7, back in the day, but some of the reasons for hesitancy this time are different.
The move to Windows 10 usually required the purchase of new hardware. It tended to be unavoidable – 7 could run on far lower-spec devices than later versions. The move from Windows 10 to Windows 11 will also require new hardware, but for different reasons.
Infamously, Microsoft axed support for a raft of hardware with Windows 11, including older Intel CPUs, on security grounds. The result was that hardware that will run Windows 10 perfectly well will not accept the new operating system. And this is not due to performance problems (who remembers trying to run Vista on XP hardware?) but rather because of Microsoft's edict.
The result? A collective shrug from PC users. Windows 10 does the job. Why upgrade?
The figures speak for themselves. Windows 10 dominates the desktop. According to Statcounter, the worldwide Windows version desktop market share puts Windows 10 at 71.64 percent, with Windows 11 trailing at 23.61 percent.
To put that in context, Windows 11 was launched two years ago today. Windows 10 was launched in 2015 and took two years to reach the same market share as the then-dominant player, Windows 7. Windows 11? Not quite.
Another measure from Lansweeper, based on research from over 14 million devices, puts Windows 10 installed on 80.56 percent of devices and Windows 11 on just 8.35 percent.
Two years after Windows 11's launch, it is clear that it still trails Windows 10 by an impressive amount.

However, while Windows 11 itself is not much of a carrot, the impending demise of Windows 10 is undoubtedly a stick, and hardware manufacturers are rubbing their hands with glee in the knowledge that enterprises, at least, must plan to refresh their fleets.
Sure, the economic situation might have resulted in the extension of the device lifespans – a decent CPU coupled with an SSD is more than enough for most productivity applications – but an end to updates, no matter how artificial, means a hardware refresh is likely unavoidable.
Hardware makers are, unsurprisingly, pretty happy about the impending demise of Windows 10.
At 2023's Canalys Channel Forum, Luca Rossi, senior veep at Lenovo and boss of the Intelligent Devices Group, said: "In 2024/2025 you have Windows 10 End of Life. Typically this drives a lot of demand in the commercial space. You have adoption of Windows 11 from the corporates, you have the traditional three-year replacement cycle that is now starting from a much bigger install base that has happened during COVID.
"And then AI PC will probably be the other elements to drive a more sustained demand in 2024/25."
After all, it is impossible to talk about tech in 2023 and not mention AI.
Data published by Lansweeper this week – based on an estimated 33 million Windows devices – found that just over 32 percent of the hardware would be seen as unsuitable for the upgrade by Microsoft. This is an improvement over the 42 percent of a year ago but hardly cause for celebration. The increase is likely due to new devices seeping into the system.
However, that growth of adoption will need to accelerate markedly if Windows 11 is to become dominant by the time Windows 10 drops out of support.
With Windows 10, Microsoft quietly pushed out upgrades to users on earlier versions. Thanks to its hardware requirements, Microsoft has made things trickier for itself this time around. ®

Further Reading: Imaging VS Cloning
After knowing so much solutions about ghost Windows 7/8/10 via imaging or ghost hard drive via cloning, perhaps you are curious about the differences between image VS clone .
It refers to backing up your Windows, files, disk or partition to an image file. During the backup process, the backup source is compressed by the ghost image software. Once an accident happens to your computer such as system crash, Windows unable to boot after updates, drive failure, etc. you can only restore the image through the original software.
2. Disk Cloning
Disk cloning is a method to create an exact copy of a hard drive to another disk. That is to say, all the contents on the source disk including settings, files, programs, etc. are transferred. If you clone a system disk, the target disk can be used to boot the PC in case of system breakdown.

I’m looking for an easier way to ghost my Windows 10 64 bit computer system and all useful files into an external hard drive rather than creating image files with File History. Why don’t I choose File History as a backup option? I know that File History can create a backup like a file copy of all my selected file folders or disk partition and it even can backup my system. The problem is that File History backup will take up as the same space as my original files and disk. This will take too much space on my computer. I tried to Google ghost Windows 10 64 bit, all I get are accesses to download Windows 10 64 bit ISO files or installation packages. Known issues in this update
Click or tap to view the known issues, how to get this update.
Before installing this update
Microsoft now combines the latest servicing stack update (SSU) for your operating system with the latest cumulative update (LCU). For general information about SSUs, see Servicing stack updates and Servicing Stack Updates (SSU): Frequently Asked Questions .
Prerequisite:
Based on your installation scenario, choose one of the following:
For offline OS image servicing:
If your image does not have the March 22, 2022 ( KB5011543 ) or later LCU, you must install the special standalone May 10, 2022 SSU ( KB5014032 ) before installing this update.
For Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) deployment or when installing the standalone package from Microsoft Update Catalog:
If your devices do not have the May 11, 2021 ( KB5003173 ) or later LCU, you must install the special standalone August 10, 2021 SSU ( KB5005260 ) before installing this update.
Install this update
If you want to remove the LCU
To remove the LCU after installing the combined SSU and LCU package, use the DISM/Remove-Package command line option with the LCU package name as the argument. You can find the package name by using this command: DISM /online /get-packages .
Running Windows Update Standalone Installer ( wusa.exe ) with the /uninstall switch on the combined package will not work because the combined package contains the SSU. You cannot remove the SSU from the system after installation.

Method 1: Direct Download (Microsoft Servers)
A few of the direct download links are not working, so, as an alternative, we added magnet links that can be utilized using a torrent downloader client. You can get a good torrent on any device. ( Windows , macOS , Android )
Download the correct ISO file from the links below. These links will generate a direct download link from the official Microsoft server. Choose 64-bit or 32-bit based on your System type.
These are direct download links to the English US ISO files. If you want ISO files in any other language, please comment below with the Language, Windows edition, and System type of the ISO file you want, and I will provide direct download links.
How to use the Direct 2 download link?
Don’t worry; these files are not saved on other servers. All the files are being downloaded from Microsoft servers only. These tools are just providing an interface to ease the download process.
This third-party tool can be used to download the latest Windows 10 ISO file. The website provides a very easy-to-use interface, you have to use the drop-down menu to select your preferred Language and Architecture, and you are good to go.
Just select the Language from your drop-down menu and click on the Confirm button. Finally, you will see two links for x64 and x86 architectures. Click on it to start the download.
Method 2: Using Third-Party Tools
You can even use third-party tools available to download the latest version of Windows 10 ISO in your preferred language and architecture. We are going to do this using a tool named Rufus, which is actually a tool to create bootable media, but you also can download the latest Windows ISO files directly from Microsoft servers.
Follow the below steps to do so,
- First, you need to download the latest version of Rufus .
- And then insert an empty flash drive into the system. ( Note that without inserting a flash drive, you can’t proceed further )
- Now, open the Rufus application.
- Then, in the Boot selection section, select “Disk or ISO image (Please select)” from the drop-down menu.
- And click on the down arrow and select the “Download” option.
- Now, click on that Download button, and a new window will appear.
- One by one, select Version, Release, Edition, Language, and then Architecture, as shown in the below screenshot.
- Finally, there is a checkbox above the download button; if you check that, your Windows 10 ISO will be downloaded via a web browser.
Method 3.1: From Microsoft Download Page (Via Windows PC)
Microsoft has its own archive of Windows 10 ISO files, but if you are using a Windows PC, it doesn’t allow you to download the ISO file; instead, it asks you to update to the latest Windows 10 via its own tool(s).
But we found a method to download the latest Windows 10 ISO file from the same Microsoft Download page. Follow the below steps to download the latest Windows 10 ISO file,
- First, go to this URL to open the Windows 10 download page.
- Now, tap ‘ CTRL+Shift+I ‘ to open Developers Tools, or you can go to Three Dots -> More Tools -> Developer Tools .
- Then, again navigate to Three Dots -> More Tools -> Network Conditions .
- Now, uncheck the Use browser default which is located in front of User Agent .
- Then, click on the drop-down menu currently set as Custom.
- And then choose any non-windows OS .
- Now, click F5 or the refresh button to refresh the Windows 10 Download page.
- Finally, you can now see the option to select your preferred Windows 10 Edition .
- Click on the drop-down menu to select it, then click on the Confirm button.
- Now, you will get the option to select the language for your Windows 10 ISO .
- Finally, you will get the link (s) to download Windows 10 ISO , both 32 – bit and 64 – bit .
Note that the above Windows 10 ISO download links are valid for 24 hours, so you must download them within the time period; otherwise, you will have to repeat the same steps again.
Method 3.2: From Microsoft Download Page (Via Non-Windows System)
If you have a Non-Windows System like Mac, Linux, Chromebook, etc., you can easily download the Windows 10 ISO.
- First, go to this URL to open the Windows 10 ISO download page.
- Now, scroll down to the Select Edition section.
- You can select Windows 10 from the drop-down menu and then click on the Confirm button.
- Now, you will see a new section named ‘ Select the product language ’, select your preferred language and click on the Confirm button.
- Finally, you will get the download links to Windows 10 ISO (both 64 and 32-bit).
Install Windows 10
Method 1: update update using windows 10 iso file.
- Click to open the ISO file.
- Now, Double click to set up.
- Click Next : Install Windows 10.
- Now a screen will prompt showing “ Getting Updates “; this will take some time.
- It will Check your PC; this will also take some time—[If during this process it asks for Product Key, it means your Windows isn’t activated].
- Click Accept to accept all the Applicable notices and license terms.
- Again, another screen will prompt showing “ Getting Updates “; this will take some time, depending on your network speed.
- Next, ensure you’re ready to install; jus t be patient and wait; this might take a bit longer.
- Ready to install. Click Install .
- Now it will start installing Windows 10 onto your PC, and this will restart your system several times; this process will take some time.
Method 2: Clean Install Using Windows 10 ISO File
If you have your Windows 10 ISO File ready to update your system to Windows 10 Latest Update, all you have to do is boot from the disc or USB thumb drive to start the setup. Now follow the following steps to clean install Windows 10 using the ISO file,
- Insert a flash drive, at least 16 GB.
- Now, open Rufus to create bootable media for Windows 10.
- Make sure to keep all the default settings as it is.
- Now, click on the Start button and wait a while to finish.
- After completion, Rufus will ask you to restart the PC.
- Restart your PC, and while booting, before the Windows logo , tap the Boot Menu key to open it.
- You see a screen with a list of drives, choose the one you inserted/plugged in , and hit Enter .
- Then the Windows logo will appear on the screen for a while; if you see the animated dots, it means everything is fine.
- Next, you will be asked to select your Language, Time, and Keyboard method, and after configuring all these things, Click Next .
- Now click on Install Now .
- Now, Windows 10 set-up will ask you to enter the Product Key; if you have a Windows 10 product key, proceed to enter it. Otherwise, click on “I don’t have a key” or “Do this later.”
- Now setup will ask you to choose the correct edition of which you have a License, either Home or Pro. Make sure to enter the correct edition if you choose the wrong edition, then you would need to perform a clean install again.
- Just wait for a while; the system prepares itself to copy files.
- Accept the license terms. To do so, check the box in front of “I accept the license terms.”
- Click Next .
- Click Custom: Install Windows only (advanced) .
- Select the drive and then click Next . [If there are multiple partitions, select each from the bottom, then click to delete until only one unallocated drive is left]
- Select the unallocated drive list; Click New > Apply > O K.
- Select the Primary partition from multiple partitions, and click Next .
- Just wait for a few seconds while Windows install.
- When all this setup completes, Windows will reboot into the setup automatically.
- After this, Windows will detect and install hardware. and it will restart for the last time.

Windows 10 Hello Face not working (2023)
Here are all possible fixes working for Hello Face recognition, based on helping in many of these cases. You should not have to do them all before one works, but please do them in order and don't skip any unless they clearly don't apply to your system:
1) Try the latest working fixes here for Windows Hello Face Recognition not working:
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/windows-hello-facial-recognition-setup-not-working-in-windows-10 (Avoid ad links which intrude into editorial copy, especially DO NOT INSTALL Restoro, PC Repair Tool and Reimage ads) -working-on-windows-11/
https://thegeekpage.com/windows-hello-face-is-not-working-in-windows-10/
https://appuals.com/windows-hello-facial-recognition-not-available/
2) Turn off Fast Startup: Go to Settings > System > Power & Sleep > Additional Power Settings > Choose what Power buttons do > Change settings that are unavailable > uncheck Fast Startup.
3) Reset Facial Recognition and/or Fingerprint Options https://blog.goptg.com/how-to-reset-windows-hello-biometrics
4) Update drivers If some of the system drivers, most probably webcam and fingerprint reader drivers, were corrupted Windows Hello may fail to perform. To fix that, try to update the corresponding drivers:
Right-click on Windows key and select Device Manager. Locate the Hello, webcam, and fingerprint drivers individually and right-click on each of them.
Select Remove driver software and wait for the removal to be finished. Repeat the removal with all Windows Hello related drivers and then reboot your PC.
Once done, open Device Manager, click Action -> Scan for hardware changes. The system should automatically detect and reinstall the drivers.
5) Go over this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done:
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki/windows_10-performance/windows-10-performance-and-install-integrity/75529fd4-fac7-4653-893a-dd8cd4b4db00
Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.
6) Update your drivers and BIOS/UEFI firmware from PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads web page, using the full model number, Serial Number or Dell Service Tag on sticker.
Compare the latest drivers available for download with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start Menu. Make sure you have the latest BIOS or UEFI firmware, Chipset, Display (Video), Sound, USB3, Bluetooth, Network and all other drivers, or else download and install the latest now.
Updating drivers from the Device Manager or Windows Update is rarely enough. The most basic thing we need to learn to maintain a PC is keep the latest manufacturer's drivers installed from their Support Downloads web page.
7) If nothing else works then do a Repair Install, by installing Media Creation Tool, open tool and choose to Upgrade Now. This reinstalls Windows while keeping files, programs and most settings in place, and is also the most stable method to advance to the latest version. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install

E bó tay luôn. A có cách thể hướng dẫn e 1 chút dc k. Máy e hơi cũ, ghost win 10 hay dùng file iso thì luôn bị hiện cái bảng ” Windows couldn’t. …

A ơi làm bản win 11 mới nhất đi a
Mình đang đợi 23H2 ra chính thức rồi build luôn bạn ạ.
có bản chính thức rồi a build đi e mong lắm

How to manually install Windows 11 version 23H2
For when you can't resist checking out all the new Windows features
Quick Links
Check your device meets the windows 11 system requirements, back up your pc, how to download and install windows 11 version 23h2 using windows update, how to manually download windows 11 version 23h2, how to boot and perform a fresh installation of windows 11.
Windows 11 version 23H2 is the latest feature update for Windows 11, Microsoft's latest and greatest operating system. Also known as the Windows 11 2023 Update, it was officially released in November 2023, and it's now widely available for any PC compatible with Windows 11. Installing this update should be fairly easy, but if you're not sure of what you need to do, we're here to help.
Windows 11 version 23H2: Everything that's new inn the latest feature update
If you're already running Windows 11, you should have no worries getting the latest update, seeing as there are no changes to the system requirements. But if you're still on Windows 10, you'll need to meet the system requirements for Windows 11 as a whole. Here's a quick rundown:
- CPU: 1GHz or faster with two or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor or system on chip (SoC)
- RAM: 4GB or more
- Storage: 64GB or more
- System firmware: UEFI, Secure Boot capable
- TPM: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0
- GPU: Compatible with DirectX 12 or later with WDDM 2.0 driver
- Display: High definition (720p) display that is greater than 9 inches diagonally, 8 bits per color channel
Windows 11: Everything you need to know
Power users can install Windows 11 on almost any unsupported PC , which means you should be able to enjoy the 23H2 release on your trusty old tower.
Before upgrading your OS, it's vital that you set up a full backup of your PC so you don't lose any valuable personal data if things go awry.
You can rely on the new Windows Backup app , but we also recommend you use some of the alternative backup solutions available so you have the peace of mind of knowing you have an off-site backup of your personal data. Move your important files to OneDrive or a USB flash drive, just in case the upgrade doesn't go as expected.
How to back up your Windows 11 PC
The easiest way to get Windows 11 version 23H2 is to use Windows Update on a supported PC. To do this follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app
- Click Windows Update in the side menu.
- Click Check for updates .
- You'll see a message similar (with slightly different text) to the one below, saying Windows 11 version 23H2 is available. Click Download & install .
After restarting your PC, you should be good to go with Windows 11 version 23H2. It's possible you won't see a ton of changes, as most of the features in this update were also made available to version 22H2 .
The update should be very fast since Microsoft is using what's called an enablement package. Essentially, the new features are already in version 22H2, but they're disabled, and this update simply flips the switch to make them come alive.
If you don't want to use Windows Update or it just isn't working for you, you can download it manually. Microsoft doesn't offer a straightforward way to download the enablement package by itself, as it's not listed on the Microsoft Update Catalog. Thankfully, with some sleuthing, you can grab the files, which we've linked to below.
The update package will only install if you're running Windows 11 build 22621.2355 or higher. You can check your current build number in Settings > System > About .
Generally speaking, the MSU file above is much easier to use, but the CAB file may be preferred in some cases. Unless you know you want the CAB version, though, stick with MSU.
If you're using the MSU file, all you need to do is run it once it finishes downloading, and the update will install, prompting you to reboot your computer.
If you're using the CAB file, you'll need to use Windows Terminal to install the update. Here's how:
- Right-click the CAB file you downloaded and choose Copy as path .
- Right-click the Start menu icon (or press Windows + X on your keyboard) and choose Terminal (Admin) .
- Enter the following command, replacing <path_to_cabfile_> with the path copied in step 1: dism /online /add-package /packagepath:<path_to_cabfile>
- Wait for the process to finish, then reboot your PC to finish setting up.
If the method above still doesn't work for you, you have one last option, which is a clean install of Windows 11. If you download a full WIndows 11 image from Microsoft, you'll get the latest updates out of the box, so you don't need to use Windows Update at all. For this, simply follow these steps:
- Go to the Windows 11 download page
- Run the program and follow the steps to download and install the latest version of Windows 11.
Keep in mind that using this method means downloading an entire Windows 11 image. That means the download and install process will take much longer, so be sure to make time for it if you plan on doing it this way. Alternatively, you can use the Media Creation Tool to install Windows 11 from scratch with a USB drive, though this will take even longer.
How to download and install Windows 11
Final thoughts.
And that's about all you need to know if you want to manually install Windows 11 version 23H2 on your PC. We generally recommend waiting for the new release to be offered normally through Windows Update, but if you're eager to try out the fancy latest features, the methods mentioned above let you get it right now.

A ghost town: Upper Peninsula tourism reckons with warm winter

Steve Hamilton estimates his snowmobile rental business has lost 99% of its revenue this winter.
Hamilton North Coast Adventures only had about seven days where the snow was deep enough for snowmobilers to hit the trails. During that white week in mid-January, Hamilton was able to rent out snowmobiles and host guests at his cabin.
But outside of that brief winter spell, Ontonagon and Gogebic counties have been a ghost town.
“Here right now, there’s nobody on the roads. There’s no traffic. There’s no waits anywhere,” Hamilton said.
The Lake Gogebic Outpost doesn’t have any rumbling snowmobiles lining up at the gas pumps. Ontonagon restaurants have open tables ready to serve hungry diners. And western Upper Peninsula resorts have empty rooms.
This is Big Snow County without much snow.
“You don’t really understand the gravity of it until you come into Bergland or Ontonagon on a Friday night at 5 o’clock,” Hamilton said. “Usually there’s a couple hundred people around everywhere. It’s full of snowmobilers and skiers, but they’re gone.”
The lost winter

Unseasonably warm weather, little snowfall and muddy trails have hollowed out the winter tourism industry across the Upper Peninsula. This crisis has devastated the small communities that rely on a thick blanket of snow to keep the economy humming.
Everything from snowmobile rentals to ski hills and local eateries have been impacted by what’s being called the “ lost winter .”
“You’re having businesses up here that are either tightening up their payroll, laying employees off or simply cutting operating hours for their businesses,” said Brad Barnett, executive director of Visit Keweenaw. “This has real impact to our community.”
Tourism, a pillar to the Upper Peninsula economy, brings nearly $1.5 billion to the region and employs about 16.5% of the workforce . Although visitor numbers peak in summer, winter plays a vital role in tiding businesses over between shoulder seasons.

An annual average of 200 to 300 inches of snow make the Upper Peninsula a playground for winter enthusiasts plus 3,000 miles of snowmobile trails, 14 steep ski areas and ice caves. But there’s only been 116 inches in the Keweenaw Peninsula to date and Marquette is 5 feet below its normal snowfall.
“What’s been very challenging, it’s just been almost a complete absence of snow in many cases,” said Barnett said.
Many snowmobile trails are listed in poor condition by UP Travel with some “down to dirt” and others waterlogged. Iconic sled dog races, like the UP 200 and Copper Dog, were canceled due to the lack of snow. Houghton was only able to host the Jibba Jabba snowboarding rail competition, Barnett said, by hauling in 70 truckloads of snow from surrounding areas.
For Hamilton, he had to lay off his sole full-time employee just to keep his three-year-old business afloat.
“It’s just quiet,” he said. “You can definitely hear the skeleton of the economy.”
Why is it so warm?
Michigan has experienced the warmest December through January on record, according to Jeff Andresen, a state climatologist from Michigan State University. February has largely felt the same: a 70-degree day, open windows, T-shirts and brown landscapes.
A strong El Niño has played a big role, by interacting with the jet stream that normally delivers frigid arctic air to Michigan. During these events, Michigan typically sees warmer conditions, but Andresen says this is part of a “longer-term trend” toward milder winters.
Since 1951, yearly average temperatures have increased by 2 degrees throughout Midwest, according to the Great Lakes Integrated Sciences And Assessments . Future temperatures are expected to rise by another 6 to 11 degrees by 2100.
“The cold weather still does occur, but it’s just not typically as severe or as cold,” Andresen said.
Related: Michigan’s Upper Peninsula smashes records in warmest start to winter on record
Warming conditions have also led to big swings in snowfall. Some years, like the 2013-2014 winter, heavy snow buried Michigan with 116 inches falling in Grand Rapids and 273 inches in Baraga County . But other years, like this winter, there have been extremely low levels throughout the state.
“These are areas that snowfall is climatologically almost guaranteed statistically, but now that is no longer the case,” Andresen said.

What can be done?
A coalition of 43 western Upper Peninsula businesses are pushing for disaster relief after they lost an estimated $3.1 million during the unprecedently warm December.
This type of aid was recently made available to Wisconsin businesses that have suffered losses due to the mild winter. Those affected can apply for disaster loans up to $2 million from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Gov. Tony Evers announced in mid-February .
The Michigan Economic Development Corp. last said it takes seriously the “difficult circumstances Michigan’s winter snowsports industry and related businesses are facing,” and it’s working with local partners to find resources that will help.
“It’s pretty unbelievable how much money can really flow out of the snowmobile trail system into our local communities,” Hamilton said. “It drives lots.”

As the climate changes, Andresen says there will be more extreme weather events creating bigger economic impacts.
Climate disasters cost the United States $165 billion two years ago, the White House reported , the third costliest year on record. And a recent study from the University of Waterloo and University of Innsbruck found the U.S. ski industry has lost more than $5 billion over two decades due to “human-caused climate change.”
“Instead of becoming more resilient or less vulnerable by technology or whatever means, we may be actually seeing the opposite,” Andresen said. “We just can’t afford to do that.”
To cope, the Upper Peninsula hopes to diversify its economy so jobs are not entirely reliant on tourism.
“It will remain an important part of who we are, and we’re proud of that. But you realize with some of the uncertainty around weather, that we’ve got to have a broad economic base to draw from,” said Marty Fittante, CEO of InvestUP.
Some tourism businesses are using the same playbook.
Mount Bohemia, named the top ski resort in North America , added a Nordic spa three years ago and two new saunas this winter.
Hamilton North Coast Adventures, a Polaris Adventures Outfitter, also pivoted to renting out electric off-road vehicles instead of snowmobiles this winter. Michigan awarded Polaris a $700,000 grant last year to create an electric vehicle charging network along 100 miles of Upper Peninsula trails.
“We were supposed to pilot it this spring, but with what’s going on now, we’ve turned a leaf,” Hamilton said. “We’ve got to make lemonade.”

Rising crime risks turning Oakland into a ‘ghost town.’ Newsom is sending in reinforcements
Violent crime and other felonies fell in 2023 in America’s biggest cities . They increased in Oakland .
Robberies grew 38% last year in Oakland, according to police data. Burglaries increased 23%. Motor vehicle theft jumped 44%. Roughly one of every 30 Oakland residents had a car stolen last year, according to a San Francisco Chronicle analysis .
On Tuesday, California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced he was taking action, deploying 120 California Highway Patrol officers to Oakland and the surrounding area to conduct a law enforcement surge operation. The aim: to crack down on crime, including vehicle theft, retail theft and violent crime.
“What’s happening in this beautiful city and surrounding area is alarming and unacceptable,” Newsom said in a statement.
Business owners have been pleading for help for months.
Not giving up
Nigel Jones isn’t giving up on Oakland, even after Kingston 11, his community food center for low-income families, was vandalized and its glass doors smashed.
Jones immigrated to the United States from Jamaica when he was 16 and made his home in Oakland. The chef and restauranter currently owns two Jamaican restaurants, Calabash and Kingston 11. He says he is passionate about helping Oakland’s disadvantaged families.
But “residents and businesses have pulled back from the city,” due to a rise in crime and public safety concerns, he said.
In September, Jones and other downtown Oakland business owners walked off the job for a day to urge city and state leaders to improve safety in the area.
And last summer, Oakland police advised residents to use air horns to alert neighbors to intruders and add security bars to their doors and windows. The Oakland NAACP branch demanded elected leaders take action to ensure public safety, especially in predominately Black neighborhoods.
Cascading effect
Jones said there’s a vicious cycle playing out in Oakland.
Residents and businesses have pulled back from downtowns, in part due to public safety concerns. That has left fewer people on the street and created more opportunities for robberies and other crime.
“I don’t want people to be fearful and stay home because businesses need you to come out and the more people on the street, the safer it will be,” said Shari Godinez, the executive director of Koreatown Northgate, which represents businesses in Oakland. “If nothing changes, it’ll just start becoming a ghost town.”
It’s not just small businesses. National companies are also pulling out of Oakland and taking extra measures to protect workers.
In-N-Out is permanently closing one of its restaurants for the first time ever, saying that its Oakland location will soon shutter because of car break-ins, property damage, theft, and armed robberies targeting employees and customers. Denny’s is shuttering its only location in Oakland after more than 54 years, citing public safety concerns.
Kaiser Permenente said a number of its employees working in its downtown Oakland offices were victims of armed robberies, vehicle theft and other crimes in the latter part of 2023. Kaiser reportedly issued a memo to employees recommending that staff stay in buildings for lunch. The company did not comment on the memo to CNN.
And Clorox said it hired uniformed security guards to chaperone employees to the office from public transit stations, parking garages, restaurants and coffee shops.
Why crime has increased
Homicide, gun assaults and most other violent crime fell in US cities last year, but they remain above pre-pandemic levels.
The number of homicides in 2023 fell by 10% compared to 2022, according to a study of crime trends in 38 cities by the Council on Criminal Justice, a nonpartisan criminal justice policy organization. (The study did not include Oakland.)
But other crimes have increased nationally.
Motor vehicle theft increased by 29% and, since 2019, motor vehicle theft has shot upward by 105%, the study found. Reported incidents of shoplifting, a crime that drew considerable attention from lawmakers and the media in 2023, jumped 22%.
“Big social and economic forces appear to have been behind the sharp trends that began in 2020, but now there is considerable variation between cities,” CCJ president Adam Gelb said in a statement. This variation “suggests local factors are becoming more significant.”
There’s no easy answer to explaining why crime has increased in Oakland. But the pandemic had a major impact, crime scholars say.
“Pandemic-related changes in people’s daily activities and emotional and economic stress levels, changes in police practices and a rupture of public trust in law enforcement, and the suspension or reduction of social supports and programs are among the theories offered by crime scholars,” according to the Council on Criminal Justice study.
Police services and violence prevention programs have been cut in Oakland . With ever-rising housing prices in Oakland and across California, homeless encampments have multiplied on sidewalks and under freeway bypasses. The rise in the homeless population has also increased public safety concerns, although someone who is homeless is no likelier to be a criminal than a housed person, research shows .
Rising crime is causing some Oakland business owners to question whether they can continue to operate in the city.
Cindy Varela, the owner of Zona Latina Hn, a Latin American restaurant, said burglars have broken into the restaurant overnight and vandalized it.
“These people come here and they broke my windows,” she said. “I lost my money.”
Crime “is a big problem here” and she’s lost customers because people are scared to sit down to eat.
If conditions continue like this, she may have to close the restaurant.
Police and law enforcement advocacy groups say more cops on the street are needed. Oakland has also been without a police chief for around a year.
Business leaders have called for tougher public safety policies in Oakland’s commercial districts, such as allowing police traffic stops for vehicles with illegally tinted windows, and more street police patrols.
Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao said that since taking office last year, she has “pursued a comprehensive community safety plan” focused on investing in the police department, strengthening violence prevention, and leveraging technology to disrupt criminal networks.
Over the past two months, there have been reductions in property crimes in business districts across Oakland, she said. She also directed the police department to resurrect its “Ceasefire Strategy,” which Oakland walked away from in 2020 to focus on pandemic relief.
Nigel Jones, the restaurant, said that the city is “not going to arrest our way out of this problem.”
It will take partnership between businesses, the mayor’s office, elected officials and others to create safer neighborhoods and improve business conditions.
“I’m invested in making the city live up to its full potential,” he said. “It’s what America talks about, [what] it wants to be — Oakland is that.”

One of the best hidden gems of 2023 is now on Xbox, and it's my favorite game of the year so far
I had heard that Mediterranea Inferno was good, but nothing could've prepared me for the real thing.
2023 was a landmark year for bar-setting video game releases. It wasn't nearly as positive for the video games industry as a whole, but it's hard to deny the sheer number of quality titles delivered to players last year. One hidden gem slid under the radar for most people because of this, but every whisper I heard about this game affirmed it shouldn't be overlooked by anyone . Now, that game is officially available on Xbox — and I've already 100% completed it.
The game in question is Mediterranea Inferno, developed in tandem by Lorenzo Redaelli and studio EYEGUYS. It's a choice-driven, narrative-centric visual novel with brutal and poetic writing, brilliantly vivid stylized visuals, and a poignant story that boldly tackles a variety of indescribably complex and eternally relevant topics. Yes, it is a text-based visual novel, so players that struggle to maintain interest in video games without complex gameplay mechanics can go ahead and wander off.
For everyone intrigued by the brief synopsis above, though, Mediterranea Inferno has already cemented itself as one of my top Xbox games of 2024, thoroughly permeating my thoughts since I rolled the credits.

Struggling to find hope in a broken world

Claudio, Mida, and Andrea seemed unstoppable growing up. Attractive, charismatic, intrinsically privileged — these three queer men were brought together by the power they held as a group in the social circles of Milano, Italy. Cloistered in the deafening noise of endless parties and reinforced by the false invulnerability of immaturity, the Sun Guys (so named by the envious teens that surrounded them), bravely stood against the entire world.
They were oblivious to their faults and the inevitability of life, but their nascence was shattered by a two-year event most of the world was abruptly thrown into: the COVID-19 pandemic. Italy's strict isolation laws saw the three boys separated for two entire years, forcing each into a state of secluded evolution that exacerbated their individual imperfections into full-fledged fatal flaws.
The pandemic broke the world. COVID-19 claimed literally millions of lives, irreversibly altering the economy and further dividing humanity. Particularly affected by this latter symptom were the younger generations, losing crucial developmental years to a disease that by its nature prevented socializing and connection. Even as the world began to emerge on the other side of the pandemic, the lingering effects settled in for the long haul; and we still aren't fully aware of what these effects may be.
It's in this world that Mediterranea Inferno is set, taking place in Aug. 2022. Claudio, Mida, and Andrea agree to a three-day summer vacation in Puglia, Italy to celebrate Ferragosto, a country-wide holiday that ends with the Assumption of Mary (an important date in the Catholic religion that celebrates Mary's ascension into Heaven). On the surface, the three are seeking to return to the glory days of their pre-pandemic friendship, but the intervening years have created insurmountable wedges between the trio.
Seeking a flawed fantasy that doesn't exist
To be candid, I'm hesitant to say much more about Mediterranea Inferno beyond the setting. This game took any juvenile expectations I had and tore them to shreds, putting both my heart and brain into a brutal chokehold. It's violent and dark, funny and relevant, beautiful and emotional. The writing is poetic and unrelenting in its savagery, laying bare a powerful perspective on what it means to be human in today's world.
I understand if that may not be enough on its own to persuade you to play this game, though, so I'll divulge the little I'm willing to on Mediterranea Inferno's story. Each of the three main characters, Claudio, Mida, and Andrea, are deeply flawed and exaggerated tokens of a different facet of life, and the interplay between these ideals leads to a duplicitous, selfish conflict within the group.
Claudio struggles to imagine a future in a world that's so irrevocably devastated by generations that won't have to face the consequences of their decisions, and turns that bitterness into an obsession for the "golden days" that never existed. Mida has suffered under years of perceived ostracization, feeling diminished in the eyes of those around him (including his closest friends), and internalizes that into a desperate need for utter control and independence. Andrea yearns for constant connection and validation, an addiction that fills him with an ever-present, aching loneliness and an inability to find happiness by himself or with his own love.
At this point, Mediterranea Inferno detaches itself from the real world to further explore these concepts to their extremes; each of us struggle with all of this at one point or another, but Claudio, Mida, and Andrea have been consumed by their respective issues. They're unable to see outside their perspective, refuse to communicate, and instead hunger for a world in which they can enable their worst selves without repercussion.
A mysterious entity imposes itself on their summer vacation, promising a Heaven of their making as long as they partake in the Fruit of Mirages. These Fruits take the boys into the deepest recesses of their subconscious, a sliver of their nonexistent fantasy that could be made reality if only they make their desires stronger and more indomitable than those of their friends. You dictate the choices the group makes over three days, ultimately deciding the fate of all three.
There is a plethora of secrets, branching paths, and different endings to discover in Mediterranea Inferno. Some are desolate and heart-wrenching, others are drenched in horror and existential dread, and more still reflect the simple sadness that's a natural part of existence.
Capturing just some of the complexities of life
Life is full of contradictions, and the youngest generations growing up in this complex, chaotic world embody those contradictions more than any other. Love and obsession, independence and loneliness, community and division, enjoyment and consumption — the future generations of any given era shift the balances between these opposing ideals.
In a society simultaneously more divided and interconnected than ever, that has never been more evident. Mediterranea Inferno explores the struggles of the younger generations (of which I am a part) in a world freshly shattered by the still-lingering COVID-19 pandemic. The lens through which it does so is mystical, cloaked in grandeur and impossibility, but the message it tells is potent and devastating in its impact.

The visuals and art design are wildly gorgeous, striking you with vivid scenes of neon swathes and twisting lines. The soundtrack is flexible, molding into each scene and environment with subtlety and emotion. The myriad side paths and miniature stories you can discover keep you interested even when they have little to no bearing on the end results. Mediterranea Inferno doesn't land every punch perfectly, but it's a brazen, shameless allegory on sociality, sense of self, sexual and gender identity, inclusivity, independence, history, and so much more.
It's also only $15 at the Microsoft Store (Xbox) , and is now available on Xbox Series X | S , Xbox One, Windows PC, PlayStation, and Switch. Mediterranea Inferno is ultimately a short game (I got my first ending in 4 hours and effectively 100% the game in around 7½ hours), but it certainly makes a loud impression in that short timeframe. Just go play it. 10/10.
Mediterranea Inferno — $15 at the Microsoft Store (Xbox) | Steam (PC)
A short, powerful, and emotional visual novel that can make you laugh, cry, flinch in horror, and simply stare blankly at the screen as your brain tries to come to terms with what you just experienced. It's worth every penny, and it's on Xbox now.
