All the details you might have missed in Taylor Swift's 'Anti-Hero' music video

  • Taylor Swift released a new music video on Friday for "Anti-Hero," the lead single from "Midnights."
  • "Watch my nightmare scenarios and intrusive thoughts play out in real time," she told fans .
  • The video contains nods to Swift's past eras and personal life. We rounded up the 14 most important details.

Swift's ghosts represent pieces of her past.

"When my depression works the graveyard shift, all of the people / I've ghosted stand there in the room," Swift sings in the first verse of "Anti-Hero."

In the music video, these people show up in Swift's house as cartoonish ghosts — people with bed sheets draped over their heads — surrounded by tokens from Swift's past.

One ghost dons a cowboy hat, perhaps representing her country-music era or personifying the character she plays in "Cowboy Like Me," the 11th track on "Evermore." He sits in front of wallpaper that's covered in daisies, a likely nod to "Don't Blame Me," the fourth track on "Reputation" ("I once was poison ivy, now I'm your daisy").

Another ghost wears the red heart-shaped sunglasses from the "22" music video while sipping an amber liquid. This could be a reference to "Gorgeous" ("Whiskey on ice, Sunset and Vine") or "Getaway Car" ("I knew it from the first Old Fashioned, we were cursed"), both tracks from "Reputation."

This ghost also wears a leafy wreath around its head, a symbol that's typically associated with Ancient Greece.

In the song's chorus, Swift sings, "I'll stare directly at the sun, but never in the mirror." She seems to make reference to Icarus, a tragic figure in Greek mythology who flew too close to the sun, burnt his wings, and crashed to his death — falling victim to his own ego.

Old-fashioned phones have popped up in music videos throughout Swift's career.

Swift's visual relationship with landlines dates back to "Our Song" in 2007. Another pops up in "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" (2012) and then again in "Look What You Made Me Do" (2017).

The rotary phone that appears in "Anti-Hero," however, is more sinister: the line is cut, so Swift can't call for help.

The "problem" version of Swift seems to represent her public persona.

Swift greets a version of herself at the front door, who declares, "I'm the problem, it's me!" She has a tiny star next to her eye, glittery clothes, and snakeskin boots that nod to Swift's "Reputation" aesthetic.

This version more closely resembles the pop star persona that's accessible and visible to the public. She is shown planting harmful thoughts into the real Swift's head, like "Everyone will betray you," and body-shaming her.

Swift has explored this dichotomy before, most notably in the music video for "...Ready For It?"

In the "...Ready For It?" music video, the "real" Swift is trapped behind glass, while the "problem" persona who keeps her in captivity (a robot wearing a dark hooded disguise) is the one who roams freely in public.

This scene is probably a reference to "The Archer," the fifth track on "Lover."

Additionally, Swift's zodiac sign is Sagittarius, which is represented by the archer.

When Swift is shot, her insides are sparkly and purple. This also comes out when she drinks too much.

antihero music video ghost

This purple color is likely a reference to "Lavender Haze," the opening track on "Midnights."

Swift seems to suggest that her true inner self only leaks out when she's wounded or her inhibitions are lowered — and when it does, it stains her public persona.

The dining room scene also contains a parallel to "Alice In Wonderland."

In Disney's 1951 animated film, adapted from the 1865 novel by Lewis Carroll, Alice becomes too large for her surroundings and drinks a potion to make herself smaller.

In Swift's case, however, the bottle is empty.

Swift has referenced "Alice In Wonderland" in the past, most notably in "Wonderland," the 14th track on the deluxe version of "1989."

Swift opened up about her eating disorder in the 2020 documentary "Miss Americana."

In the "Anti-Hero" music video, Swift steps on a scale that shows her the word "fat."

This could be read as a visual representation of body dysmorphia, a mental health disorder that often causes disordered-eating habits .

Swift disclosed her experience with an eating disorder and ongoing struggle with "impossible" beauty standards in the 2020 documentary "Miss Americana."

"I tend to get triggered by something, whether it's a picture of me where I feel like my tummy looked too big, or someone said that I looked pregnant or something. And that will trigger me to just starve a little bit, just stop eating," she said.

Swift also said she has a healthier relationship with food now than she has in the past, adding: "It's better to think you look fat than to look sick."

A photograph of Swift's late grandma Marjorie can be seen in the background.

"Marjorie," the 13th track on "Evermore," is an ode to Swift's late grandma who dispensed timeless advice to her granddaughter: "Never be so polite, you forget your power / Never wield such power, you forget to be polite."

In the funeral scene, Swift's will reveals that she left "the majority of my assets" to her three cats.

antihero music video ghost

Swift's three real-life cats are named Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin.

The will also says her three (fictional) children will receive 13 cents each, a cheeky nod to Swift's lucky number.

Two of Swift's greedy future children are played by Mike Birbiglia and Mary Elizabeth Ellis.

You may recognize Birbiglia from TV shows like "Orange Is the New Black" and "Girls." Ellis is best known for her comedic roles on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "New Girl."

Her third child Chad, played by John Early, suggests there's a "secret encoded message that means something else" in Swift's will — poking fun at her Easter egg-hungry fans.

antihero music video ghost

Chad's siblings also accuse him of exploiting Swift for clout, echoing a grievance from "I Did Something Bad," the third track on "Reputation" ("If he drops my name, then I owe him nothing").

Swift watches the scene from her own coffin, recalling a similar visual from the "Cardigan" music video.

The "Cardigan" music video shows Swift emerging from a piano after nearly drowning in a stormy ocean.

This shot of "monster" Swift walking through the street could be a reference to Lana Del Rey's "Doin' Time" music video.

Taylor Swift's 'Anti-Hero' Music Video Easter Eggs Are Numerous and Wild

Taylor Swift is no stranger to a good Easter egg, and her music video for "Midnights" song "Anti-Hero" is chock full of them. Let's unpack them all.

Oct. 21 2022, Published 1:41 p.m. ET

When musician Taylor Swift puts out an album, fans can always anticipate some sort of visual full of Easter eggs to follow. Her latest release, " Midnights ," is no exception to the rule, and as soon as the music video for "Anti-Hero" hit YouTube, fans were there with their magnifying glasses.

As such, it's time to unpack the Easter eggs in her "Anti-Hero" music video once and for all. Here's all the details you need to know about Taylor's latest musical endeavor.

Right from the start, Taylor references lyrics from "22."

The first image of the music video is a smiley face breakfast made of eggs, broccoli, and bacon. This could be a reference to Taylor's lyric "breakfast at midnight" (now Midnight, capital M) from her Red album on the song "22." The eggs also leak glitter gel liquid, which is most definitely a reference to Taylor's "glitter gel pen" writing. (Taylor previously revealed that she divides her songs into three different pen-themed categories; she said the "gel pen" songs are "frivolous, carefree, bouncy, syncopated perfectly to the beat," per NME .)

Taylor Swift carries the ghosts of her past selves around.

In the music video, two ghosts chase Taylor around her own home, but if fans pay close attention to their accessories, they might notice that one ghost wears cat ears similar to Taylor in the "22" music video, while the other wears a cowboy hat — perhaps as a nod to Taylor's country music roots, or "Cowboy Like Me" from Evermore .

Additionally, the ghosts appear as she sings "all of the people I've ghosted stand there in the room" before the doorbell rings, and her alter ego appears, there to sabotage her life.

#DrunkTaylor returns for a less hilarious meme.

Speaking of Taylor's alter ego, the Taylor in a sparkly jumpsuit immediately encourages "Normal Taylor" to do shots. This could be a reference to a viral video from August 2019 where "Drunk Taylor" trended online. She later spoke about the video on the Tonight Show that October, saying, "So I was at a party like a couple months ago and I had two and half mojitos, and then the next day, #DrunkTaylor was like number-one trending on Twitter, because, you know, I go from like zero to legitimately thinking I’m a wizard within like two drinks."

Taylor breaks her 'Speak Now' guitar.

Taylor Swift is known for having a wide variety of specialized guitars at her disposal, so fans were quick to notice that Alter Ego Taylor smashed her infamous koi guitar, best known from her Speak Now album era, on the floor. Taylor has yet to re-release Speak Now (Taylor's Version) , but some fans may take this as a sign it's next on the docket for re-releasing.

Taylor is still healing from many personal betrayals.

Standing in front of a blackboard with the words "Everyone Will Betray You," Alter Ego Taylor points out one of Normal Taylor's biggest life lessons. Not only did Taylor Swift disappear from the public eye after a private phone conversation between herself and Kanye West "leaked," but Scooter Braun bought the masters of her first six albums without her consent from her longterm label.

Taylor Swift wants YOU to vote for her for "everything."

First, Taylor is shot with an arrow, which is potentially a reference to the song "The Archer" on her Lover album, and she goes to tab the glitter wound with a tablecloth before bandaging it with a campaign sticker. The sticker itself could be a reference to critics who see her as only hungry for awards and some who view her as "calculated," because the button reads "Vote for me for everything."

Taylor faces off against her eating disorder.

In her documentary Miss Americana , Taylor addressed her eating disorder head-on, saying the public's running commentary on her body from a young age caused her to restrict her diet and severely over-exercise. She said there were times in the past when she'd see "a picture of me where I feel like I looked like my tummy was too big, or … someone said that I looked pregnant … and that’ll just trigger me to just starve a little bit — just stop eating."

Thankfully, Taylor told Variety in 2020 she has overcome the worst of her weight-related insecurities, but with "Anti-Hero" being a song primarily about self-loathing, it's obvious that she has bad days as well.

Taylor calls out fans who are constantly searching for Easter eggs.

In a tongue-in-cheek moment, Taylor imagines her wake, with her daughter-in-law and children fighting over her properties. Then, when they discover Taylor has only left them 13 cents, the group discusses whether there are any hidden Easter eggs or meanings in the will to be decoded. A frightened Taylor peeks out from the casket before closing it again as the world descends to chaos.

Taylor Swift drops music video for ‘Anti-Hero,’ her first single off ‘Midnights’

In the lead-up to the release of “Midnights,” Taylor Swift herself said this 10th record of hers was inspired by haunting late-night thoughts and, believe it or not, a bit of “self-loathing.” Her first single, “Anti-Hero,” in particular, she said delves “far into my insecurities” — and on “Midnights” release day, we get to see what that means.

While the lyrics certainly show a Swift who’s hard on herself — “It’s me, hi, I’m the problem, it’s me,” she declares — the music video too reflects how a person is often their own toughest critic. In a tweet , Swift called the video a depiction of her “nightmare scenarios” and “intrusive thoughts.”

Swift wrote and directed the video, which follows a Swift tortured by monsters like ghosts, bathroom scales and judgey people at parties. Then things start to get more deep as she faces different versions of herself that she’s also tortured by. Metaphors!

There is a moment of silliness about midway through, after a verse in which Swift sings about a dream she had about a future daughter-in-law who kills her for money, but Swift left her out of her will. The video shows how that scenario may have played out, with actors Mike Birbiglia, Mary Elizabeth Ellis and John Early lending a bit of camp to it all. (Laura Dern, the Haim sisters and a few other celebrities are credited too , though unclear how and where they appear.) It's always fun when Taylor Swift can flex her star power and tap her famous friends for projects.

The Swifties are enjoying “Anti-Hero” too, based on the discourse around Twitter. Here’s a peek at what everyone’s saying:

Music Video Breakdown: Taylor Swift’s ‘Anti-Hero’

Cover art for Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" from "Midnights" album.

On Oct. 21, Taylor Swift released her highly anticipated 10th album “Midnights.” She soon revealed the news that “Midnights” would be a visual album, accompanied by a series of interconnected music videos written and directed by Swift. The first video, created for lead single “Anti-Hero,” is a delightfully kitschy, self-referential video full of Swift’s trademark Easter eggs. It also offers an honest glimpse into her insecurities.

The video opens with Swift being interrupted mid-meal by a group of bedsheet ghosts that chase her around the house. As the chorus begins, Swift opens the front door to find a doppelganger of herself. This “anti-hero” Swift wears sparkly outfits and has seemingly endless energy — she downs shots and smashes a guitar while the real Swift vomits in horror.

Accompanied by the hook “I’m the problem, it’s me,” Swift’s music video alter ego manifests as a visual representation of her intrusive thoughts and unwelcome self-criticism. In one scene, the anti-hero version of Swift points at a blackboard with the words “everyone will betray you” written on it, while her real self takes notes.

Swift further illustrates her self-consciousness in the second verse, where a giant-sized version of Swift tries in vain to participate in a dinner party. After accidentally ruining the too-small table, the guests scream and scatter, and one shoots her with an arrow.

“I struggle a lot with the idea that my life has become unmanageably sized, and not to sound too dark, I struggle with the idea of not feeling like a person,” Swift said on Instagram about the song. The “unmanageable size” of Swift’s life is brought to life in the music video through her giant self, as well as in the song’s lyrics: “Sometimes I feel like everybody is a sexy baby / And I'm a monster on the hill / Too big to hang out, slowly lurching toward your favorite city.”

And yes, there are plenty of Easter eggs hidden throughout “Anti-Hero.” The video makes several references to Swift’s past work, such as the rotary phone from the music video for “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” heart-shaped glasses and cat ears used in the “22” music video, and the blue guitar she played during the “Speak Now” tour.

However, the music video also seems to poke gentle fun at how fans constantly hunt for Easter eggs in her work and personal life. The song fades out as the video transitions to a scene of Swift’s vision of her funeral. Her two sons and daughter-in-law (played by Mike Birbiglia, John Early, and Mary Elizabeth Ellis) are appalled to learn that Swift has left them only 13 cents each and left the rest of her money to her cats.

In the scene, Swift’s son Chad insists that his mother must have left a secret message in her will that would reveal her children’s actual inheritance. Excited, the children look closely at the will to find an extra note: “P.S. There’s no secret encoded message that means something else. Love, Taylor.” An angry Chad accuses daughter-in-law Kimber of murdering Swift for her money, which escalates into a fistfight as Swift watches with shock from inside her casket.

Do Swift’s fictional children represent her fans, combing through tweets and counting fence holes to find secret messages? Possibly, but it’s more likely that they represent Swift’s fear of those who want to exploit her fame — for instance, people who get close to her only for her money. As her alter-ego points out, she’s afraid that everyone will betray her.

It should be noted that the music video has drawn some backlash due to a scene in which Swift steps onto a scale and watches the word “fat” appear on the screen, while her alter-ego shakes her head in disappointment. Some have criticized this scene as being fatphobic, while others maintain that it’s merely an accurate reflection of Swift’s disordered eating, which she has spoken about in the past. Regardless, the clip has now been edited out of the music video.

Swift wrote on Instagram that the music video was a way to “watch [her] nightmare scenarios and intrusive thoughts play out in real time.” These intrusive thoughts demand her attention through their flashiness and overwhelming presence, which is reimagined in the music video. The song and video are both entertaining and deeply personal, showing a vulnerability to Swift that’s relatable to fans, critics, and anyone who has ever been their own problem.

Taylor Swift, "Anti-Hero"

To celebrate the release of her highly anticipated 10th studio album Midnights , Taylor Swift dropped her first music video of the album era on Friday (Oct. 21) and Swifties will be dissecting this one for a while.

Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’: A Personal, Emotionally Potent Late-Night Check-In (Critic’s Take)

The super dramatic clip for “Anti-Hero” features Swift attending her own funeral, Tom Sawyer-style, doing shots and drinking wine straight from the bottle with her party hard doppelgänger and blowing up to 50-foot giant Tay size for a trippy Alice in Wonderland -style dinner party crash.

The dynamic duo then down some shots as bad Tay smashes a guitar before oversized Swift crawls into a dinner scene and has her heart pierced by Cupid’s arrow, drawing purple glitter blood. Then it’s back to double Taylor bouncing on a bed and throwing back more shots (followed by purple glitter puke) before a dramatic interlude at her own funeral.

The reading of the will dramedy that unfolds amid the song/video that takes on insecurity and self-consciousness is heightened with cameos from comedians Mike Birbiglia ( Don’t Think Twice ) and John Early ( Search Party ), who battle over not-dead Taylor’s earthly possession with entitled daughter-in-law Mary Elizabeth Ellis ( It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia ). “Watch my nightmare scenarios and intrusive thoughts play out in real time,” Swift tweeted about the theme of the clip.

“I struggle a lot with the idea that my life has become unmanageably sized,” Swift continued in the video previewing the visual, aptly posted at midnight. “Not to sound too dark, but I just struggle with the idea of not feeling like a person — don’t feel bad for me, you don’t need to. But this song really is a real guided tour through all the things I tend to hate about myself; we all hate things about ourselves.”

Taylor Swift Drinks With Her Double and Holds Her Own Funeral in ‘Anti-Hero’ Music Video

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift meets the anti-hero version of Taylor Swift in the official music video for “Anti-Hero,” the first lead single off the Grammy winner’s new album, “ Midnights .” So what is anti-hero Taylor Swift like? She’s a big drinker and she’ll rip out all of your insecurities. The “Anti-Hero” music video was directed by Swift herself, hardly a surprise given that she’s been directing all of her music videos as of late, from “The Man” to her “All Too Well” short film.

The music video arrived eight hours after the “Midnights” album launched, and five hours after Swift surprised fans by releasing a deluxe “3am” edition of the album with seven bonus tracks. Despite these new songs, Swift wrote on social media that the original 13 songs on the main album represent her definitive vision for “Midnights.” As she wrote, “Those 13 songs form a full picture of the intensities of that mystifying, mad hour.”

As always, Swift took to Instagram to debut some behind-the-scenes pictures from the “Anti-Hero” music video shoot. The singer introduced the video by writing, “Watch my nightmare scenarios and intrusive thoughts play out in real time.”

Taylor Swift's ‘Anti-Hero’ Music Video Pits the Singer Against Herself

(As Swift said in her Miss Americana documentary , “[Although] it’s only happened a few times, and I’m not in any way proud of it,” there have been times in the past when Swift has seen “a picture of me where I feel like I looked like my tummy was too big, or…someone said that I looked pregnant…and that’ll just trigger me to just starve a little bit—just stop eating.” She added that the eating disorder affected her on her 1989 tour. “I thought that I was supposed to feel like I was going to pass out at the end of a show, or in the middle of it,” she said in the film. “Now I realize, no, if you eat food, have energy, get stronger, you can do all these shows and not feel [enervated].”)

You can watch the video below:

Swift discussed how she started doing Easter eggs in a statement given to The Washington Post this week. “I remember saving up to buy a CD when I was a kid, tearing it open, and laying on the floor reading every word of the lyric booklet. Reading lyrics and seeing which photos defined the album were two of my favorite parts of experiencing a record release,” Swift wrote. “I felt like some artists really leaned into their album packaging in a creative way. The Chicks ‘Fly’ album was my favorite because their photos depicted all the meanings of the word ‘fly’ in very theatrical ways.”

“When I was 15 and putting together my first album, I wanted to recreate the experience I used to have for my fans in a reimagined approach. I decided to encode the lyrics with hidden messages using capital letters,” she added. “That’s how it started, and my fans and I have since descended into color coding, numerology, word searches, elaborate hints, and Easter eggs. It’s really about turning new music into an event for my fans and trying to entertain them in playful, mischievous, clever ways. As long as they still find it fun and exciting, I’ll keep doing it.”

One thing fans don’t have to work too hard to figure out is how to can recreate Taylor’s looks from the video. In fact, we’ll make it easy for you. The star can be seen wearing jewelry from ByChari in the “Anti-Hero” music video. Below, shop her exact pieces.

Enter your Midnights era in style.

The ‘70s-inspired home decor must be making a comeback, because you also feel the need to fill your space with teal vases and retro floral wallpaper. From floral wallpaper to the actual plates used in the “Anti-Hero” music video, shop around for what’s calling to you and give your house the makeover it deserves so you’re fully ready to enter your Midnights era as well.

This yellow wallpaper is like Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor.

The “Anti-Hero” music video starts with Swift sitting in her kitchen, which has a yellow and orange floral wallpaper. The ‘70s vibe is strong with a daisy lamp shade as well.

While it may not be the exact same print, this yellow floral wallpaper from Society6 kind of looks like the “Anti-Hero” one. If you’re not ready to fully cover every wall in your kitchen, start with an accent wall.

This '70s plate is like Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor.

The plate that Swift uses to cut her eggs that bleed glitter are these 1970s Corelle plates. You can buy the exact same plates from the “Anti-Hero” music video on Etsy. Or, you can also just search for ‘70s-inspired dinnerware with gold accents on the rim to match.

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home includes this yellow placemat.

Underneath her 1970s plate, Swift has a woven yellow placemat like this one from World Market. Having some colorful placemats on hand is necessary if you’re planning a dinner party and want to have an Insta-worthy tablescape. You could even plan a Midnights- inspired party for your besties to listen to the album while eating a delicious meal.

This teal picture frame is like Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home.

One of the easter eggs spotted in the “Anti-Hero” music video was the framed picture of Swift’s grandma in the bathroom. The frame in the video is teal and matches the tiles in the retro room. This frame from Michaels is almost the exact same shade and will look cute on your wall with a precious family photo inside.

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home includes this teal wastebasket.

To match your teal picture frame, get this wastebasket that looks like the one in Swift’s bathroom in the “Anti-Hero” music video. It’ll fit in the corner and just add some color to the room. You could also use it as a laundry basket in your bathroom or next to your WFH desk for trash.

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home includes this octagon mirror.

As Swift is running through the “Anti-Hero” house, she runs by an octagonal mirror on the wall with one of the sheet ghost’s reflections in it. This mirror from Target looks almost the same.

Hang it up in your hallway, so you can always check your OOTD or for any sheet ghosts standing behind you. Unless, of course, you’ll “stare directly at the sun but never in the mirror.”

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home includes these green pillows.

When Swift is hanging out with her problematic self, she’s seen taking shots on the living room floor with her teal couch in the background. You may not have the budget to buy a matching teal couch, but you can get these budget-friendly throw pillow covers to twin with the pillows in the music video.

They’re soft, velvety, and match the rest of the green, teal, and gold ‘70s decor.

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home includes this throw pillow.

You can never have too many throw pillows. They’re great for your bed, couch, and chairs. Plus, they are so easy to add to your space. You literally just throw them down and that’s it. No problem here.

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home.

When Swift enters her dining room as a “monster on the hill,” you may have noticed the blue vibes going on. While her kitchen was very yellow, this room has tons of blue accents like these blue curtains.

These curtains also happen to be blackout curtains, so they’ll be great in your bedroom when you want to sleep in after staying up past midnight.

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home include blue wallpaper.

Swift’s dining room also has a blue wallpaper that looks like this pattern from Michaels. This peel and stick kind of wallpaper makes it so easy to apply when you know your place needs a vibrant boost.

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home includes these green glasses.

Swift’s dinner guests each have a green water cup in front of them. They really stand out and are a gorgeous color. If you’re looking to have more “Anti-Hero”-inspired home decor, you’ve got to get this set.

It comes with six glasses, so you’ll never run into the problem of not having enough cups for you and your besties.

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home includes this green vase.

When you stop by Target for the lavender edition of Swift’s Midnights album, pick up some colorful vases to fill your living room with. In the video, Swift can be seen hiding in the corner next to a green vase the same shade as this one from Target.

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home includes these bed sheets.

Swift is haunted by sheet ghosts at the beginning of the “Anti-Hero” music video, but these ghosts aren’t in your typical white sheets. Instead, they’re wearing very ‘70s-inspired sheets like these from Target. You can use them to make your bed or wear on Halloween with some heart-shaped sunglasses.

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home include these ghost prints.

Etsy is always a great place to find home decor for your specific needs, like these “Anti-Hero” prints for Swifties. They perfectly capture the cuteness of the sheet ghosts in Swift’s music video. You could even put these in your teal picture frame.

Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" music video decor for your home includes this art print.

Throughout the “Anti-Hero” house, you can see colorful art on the walls so it doesn’t hurt to get more Swift-inspired art for your walls. This minimalistic lyric print is also very subtle Taylor Swift decor, so your friends who don’t listen to her will just think it’s cute generic decor. Swifties will know, though, and that’s what matters the most.
